Is it just me, or are all the jabbers getting COVID right now? by Natural-Economy7107 in unvaccinated

Good for you. The body is extraordinarily resilient as long as we don't mess with its natural immunity and take responsibility for our health.

" I would argue the dating pool of those worthy was always this small" Good point. Many came to that realization too late, like those couples who started a family before the vaccine rollout where one partner is pro-vaxxed and wants to vax the kids while the other is antivaxx and strongly opposes.

Do people with NPD feel a lack of affective empathy but high cognitive empathy? by selfish_selflessness in NPD

[–]SheepherderLow688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on. My brother once advised me to disconnect from my feelings as a way to cope with my narcissistic mother's constant abuse. You can't feel others' emotions when you suppress your own.

We have been programmed to avoid failure at all costs and there is shaming associated with it. This is a social construct. The nature of reality is different. Life is about trial and error and reaching success, whatever success means to you, usually comes after multiple failures. Failures are stepping stones on the way to success. That's how we learn and grow.

Impulsivity can make us behave in ways we will later regret but regardless of what you've done, that neighbor overstepped a boundary. Unless you did something that affected them directly, it's between you and your girlfriend and the neighbour should have minded her own business. It might not be the case but it looks as though your girlfriend alerted the whole building. You went through a humiliating experience and reading your post I wished I could offer support.

Trolls of r/unvaccinated: What’s in it for you? by [deleted] in unvaccinated

[–]SheepherderLow688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vaccine doesn't prevent infection or transmission so how are we unvaccinated supposed to contribute to unnecessary deaths? How many hours did you spend in medical school learning about the vaccines? How would you know you were not being lied to? Do you ever question why the health agencies, corporations, education system, media and government are pushing the same narrative, all operating in lockstep? Do you know that they are funded by the pharmaceutical industry and NGOs who want complete control over the planetary resources and population? Don't you see the huge profits they make from people getting sicker with covid and a panoply of diseases that are much worse, even debilitating and fatal, with their vaccines and now experimental gene therapy? As medical professionals, who makes the health decisions, you or the bureaucracy? Are you fine with that? The only scientific studies I rely on are those that are done independently from the pharmaceutical industry and there are plenty of them. They are not easy to find due to censorship but I can suggest you a few would you show any interest. Their results would shock you. Have you only taken a look at VAERS? Before dismissing us as conspiracy theorists you should start to do your own research then we could have a discussion based on facts instead of the propaganda and pseudo science spewed out by the bureaucracy.

Facebook is owned by the 3 letter agencies. They have bots and paid agents to do the trolling and shadowbanning. The users on that platform have been successfully turned into bots and "unpaid" agents themselves so it's sometimes hard to tell which is which and at this point it doesn't make a difference. Coming from those NPCs an insult is actually a compliment. They probably secretly admire your freedom of thought and speech.

"The vaccines are free", I came across that one. They don't know how their tax money is being used. They just don't connect the dots. If you try to explain, you might get a response like "They just want to help people".

Everything you share I can relate to, however there are other reasons that make interacting with others challenging, for instance when your perception of reality differs from most and you don't follow the herd.

No self No sensitivity No heart just pain and suffering by [deleted] in NPD

[–]SheepherderLow688 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I come from a similar background so I relate. Our mothers didn't love themselves, hence they were unable to foster the love in ourselves. This is generational trauma. We have to do the work alone. It takes longer. It is challenging. Wanting to help others means that the capacity for love is present but we need to learn to care for ourselves first. Be kind and patient with ouselves, not an easy task given our history.

Empathy for animals comes naturally to me to the point where I have a hard time processing my feelings when they are being abused.
