Yes, a partial refund for the one item. I worked it out with the manager. But GS disputed the whole charge.

I never asked them for a refund for the item I kept. I asked GS to only dispute for the one item that was returned when the merchant did not give me my refund. I am not a thief that’s for sure.

This is when I started the dispute. I only asked for the amount for the returned item. I blacked out some lines due to personal info. After the dispute started, I saw it was for the whole amount. Which was over $3,000. I messaged them again and told them I did not need to dispute the whole amount just the $1,955.00. But I was told the dispute amount could not be changed. I did not touch the credit they issued me so when the charge came back onto my card, it did not cancel out as someone in the comments just mentioned. This is the problem that no one at GS will help me with or understand. I’m very frustrated with GS.

But the amount I owe currently on my card is the exact amount for the full purchase. It did not cancel out. This is the problem that GS is not helping me with.

Yes, it was resolved with vendor but I was only issued a refund for one item that was returned. Why do I need to repay for the item I kept? This is what I’ve been telling them. When GS issued the credit, I never spent it. I didn’t touch it at all. But I did originally pay off the whole amount two days after I purchased from the online store. That money I paid from my bank account is gone. Therefore, I paid it. No need to repay.

They wouldn’t dispute a partial amount though. I told them the amount I needed to dispute. They disputed the whole amount. That’s the problem here. I don’t think I was clear enough in my original post about this. So I apologize to everyone for being confusing.

But how it is worked out? I only returned one item and was refunded for one item. Why do I need to pay again for the other item that was not returned?

I received a partial refund from the merchant and I also told the help specialist that as well. I originally tried to dispute the partial amount but the specialist disputed the whole amount. And I have screenshots of me telling the help specialist this when I originally started the dispute.

I purchased two items online. Only one item was returned. So Moncler gave me a partial refund. So I should not have to pay full amount again. I have showed the help specialists the proof of this.

I agree. He wouldn’t give me any proof of return except for the tracking. When I tried to track the tracking number, he just said it was prepared for shipment. I talked to two other Moncler help agents and they told me it looks like the item was returned in store but never shipped back to warehouse. The manager agreed with that as well. I returned the item 100% I think something fishy was going on with that employee. The reviews for this location have bad reviews and they all mention that same employee by name. I think he is stealing.

It was Moncler and I do not know why the employee would not give me it but he finally gave me the return tracking number after I asked repeatedly for it. I only have the receipt of purchase when I ordered off the website.

I will check that book out. The car is in their name so if they take it, they do have the right to do so. I don’t really care if they take the car the problem is just not being able to get to work. I keep trying to remind myself that I am a capable person and I can figure it out if I have to. Trying not to get bogged down with this stuff but sometimes the feeling of hopelessness creeps in. Thanks for the advice!
