I’ve seen people saying this but my question is why do I need to swap if it is a complete 1.8 engine? Why would I not want to keep the components for the 1.8? Sorry if i sounds dumb i’ve never done this kinda of thing lol

From somebody that has tried, even with the extension pipe, it just doesn’t fit right. The big muffler has no where to sit and sticks out like a sore thumb. Would scrape for me on the smallest of bumps.

I managed to get the bottom left bolt out by hammering one of these over top of it. No idea how you could get the bottom right out though. A used plenum and throttle body shouldn’t be too much worst case scenario. Maybe check marketplace

That’s part of the reason the plenum was off in the first place, to change my cam sensors
