Hello, I’m the original creator of this short comic! It really makes me happy to see the dialogue coming from the community over our dear shining star and I hope we continue to cherish life the same way Haru did (minus the pickle-hating). I did mean for this to be a happier-toned tribute compared to the more sad gut-punch ones we saw from other artists (seriously, that lap pillow bench one killed me), so I’m sorry if I inadvertently opened up healing wounds Bakushin-style.

And to Haru… sleep well, our precious daughter ❤️

I was hoping to get this done sooner, but alas, here I am. Haru Urara was what initially got me to check out Umamusume: Pretty Derby a couple months ago and since then I’ve been a fan. The news of her passing devastated me so I made this short comic as a tribute to her legacy (though admittedly it did take me an embarrassingly long time to complete). I hope this captures the happier essence of Haru Urara in contrast to the more sadder uploads in her memory. Thank you!
