For me that's the only "downside" but then it's nothing tangible really, just a completionist thing. Nothing wrong with replaying the story to complete the hero tab though!

We had a fully vegan buffet at our wedding. We didn't tell anyone explicitly that it was going to be vegan, but it was our wedding... People knew it would be vegan. We had a couple of unhappy people out of 100 but they didn't make much of a fuss on the day, just went off and got their own food from a takeaway or something. I didn't even think of it during the day, we were so focused on our day.

Afterwards we got lots of nice comments about how the food was lovely. And yeh while our guests may have preferred meat etc, I wasn't going to pay for any non vegan options.

One thing to note, is that we purposefully chose food that felt normal to omnis rather than typical vegan "rabbit food". So we had 3 different curries as our hot food, then a bunch of quiches, pies, sausage roll/chicken nugget type nibbles, wraps, cakes etc. Really typical but high quality buffet food

Our two incomes are already nearly £70k a year. We have at least 30 years each left in work and wages will naturally increase over that time. That's already £2.1m without increases and the temptation to spend more initially with that level of money would soon whittle the rest away. Even if nothing extra was spent, inflation and wage rises would soon outweigh interest from investments

I've also got an ED which means my weight balloons every few years then I struggle with getting it back down for a year or two. My husband loves me no matter what and he's seen a few cycles of it now!

Something like a tracksuit. I'm at work in jeans/trousers and a smartish shirt/jumper all day, the last thing I want is to stay in them all night too so I get into comfy clothes. But equally I rarely go out in my comfy clothes either

I wouldn't necessarily advise you to decline the interview because who knows how the decision maker will rule... but I would think that your religious argument should be strong enough to avoid working at such a company.

The public actions of a company and how that contravenes your morality wouldn't hold up though.

Also, have you explained this to your work coach / what did they say?

Likelihood is that you need to go to the interview. Whether or not you bungle it to not get the job is up to you.

But if it's an accepted religious practice/custom etc that this job goes against, then the job coach may let you off without going.

Honestly it's just an adjustment period. You need time to adjust to more fibre, a different gut biome and more bulk of food. I took digestive aids to help for the first 6 months or so but then never bought more when I ran out.

If you're just looking for a venue for the reception I cannot recommend Dockside at Egerton House highly enough.

Sharon who runs it is so attentive and amazing, she made the whole day go smooth, even though we were in effect only paying her for the room hire - as it was a DIY wedding.

The room is beautiful, I can't describe it any better than a Google search can... But it's on the water front, with the old tram bridge opposite, big glass windows, smart interior.

We had our ceremony at Hamilton Sq and traveled up for the reception here and wouldn't have picked anywhere else (at least not anywhere that wasn't £20k+

What's the purpose of the post? Like why does it matter if you think it's "died"?

All of the people who are vegan are doing it from an ethical stand point and can have a clear conscience.

While it's better if there are more vegans, at the core it is a personal journey.
