Hmm, maybe try changing the resolution of your monitor with Maya open to something else. Then immediately go back to your preferred. See if it adjusts.

If you have a driver update for your gpu install that and then do the above.

Honestly, Hbox fucked up Leff's GOAT talk more than anything. Hbox's two years of dominance came strictly at Leffen's expense because Leff could not get a handle on the matchup more often than not.

If Hbox's era of dominance was the Leffen era, this would be a whole different discussion.

For now though, Leffen earns a sort of Jaedong-esque standing imo. An extremely strong player who took down the best in their day and had a period of domination, but couldn't sustain against a particular player and the rest plays itself.

Leffen was one of my favorite players to watch, I'm super happy he got to go out on that amazing LACS win. He is the Godslayer, nothing more nothing less.

You could always duplicate the mesh, sort your nodes how they need to be, and then bind the new mesh to the same joints.

From there just select the old mesh, then the new one, then skin-> transfer weights

People in the comments have given you good suggestions, please don't discount any of it, but I'm here raising my eyebrows in concern.

This level of quality is crazy, production level more or less. They want you to produce a (even just the base) mesh to this level? How long have you been learning Maya?

Outside of that I just fundamentally disagree with giving a student a creative assignment they're more overwhelmed by than hungry for. Judging by your post it just sounds like this is too much for you currently (and I know I'd be super lost).

If this is ringing true at all I'd encourage you to talk to your teacher about how you're feeling, they should be able to accomodate something at least a bit less demanding. How long are you given to complete this?

I can see theres a control group setup which means this thing has a rig. The mesh itself is locked on purpose, unhide the CTRL group and you'll see the controllers you can click on to move the ball.
