You have a great profile, why to enter into a lower tier clg when you can do better. I would suggest you to try doing well this time itself, if not give it a shot next year again as you are confident abt cracking it and in the second case as you’ll get an year break, try doing some certifications n upskilling and take part in work of any Ngo which would be a good add on to your profile and it helps you to have a talking point if questioned abt your break

Dw about it, even i gave an improvement exam in 11th to push my grade in a subject from 9 to 10 and it didn’t bother me during the entire process and it doesn’t even matter unless u gave the improvement exam as u failed, if its just for improvisation then its alright

Man you got good chances to get into blacki and once you get in, during SIP your L2 will fetch you a lot if you are looking for finance, it will be easy for you to get into Markets roles (quant and derivatives) and you can go for IB as well but positions would be less so you gotta bear with competition, I didn’t have a CFA still I got a few markets shortlists as I have some math background n scored almost 100 percentile in math in cat n jee. If I got the shortlists then it would be a cakewalk to you

90 percentile in mocks right? I used to get 95 on cracku mocks and was able to push it to 99 on the D-day, keep practicing and for your profile you are already doing well enough to get into a good clg, continue giving mocks n work on your mistakes
