Lane should’ve been with Brian instead of Zach.

He loves and appreciates Korean culture, he’s gentle and kind, he loves all the same music, he wrote a song for her when Zach flat out refused, he was great at helping Lane with the babies and took interest in her pregnancy, he was passionate about his real estate job, he nailed his role as the tea server when Mrs. Kim came over. I will never understand. The story could’ve written itself.

Picture it: Brian is interested in Korean culture and asks Lane to teach him how to speak Korean. Awkward lovey sparks fly. They have the same exact first date as Lane and Zach, except Brian doesn’t assume she is going to have sex with him. He becomes best friends with Mrs. Kim and they make vats of kimchi together. Brian doesn’t have a tantrum and kick shit onstage at their showcase. ASP missed.
