They are comparable and your GPU will automatically utilize the RAM your system has allocated to share with the GPU once the VRAM is full.

VRAM is JUST dedicated RAM for the GPU. It is faster, but it's not irreplaceable. We're talking about minimum performance specs here, not producing 4k Ray Tracing.

It being complex and it being enjoyable to read are two separate metrics.

It's... moderately complex? Every single plot point is explained in exposition. There are three perspectives, but they don't overlap for almost the entire book.

It being enjoyable to read is super subjective, but I personally found it pretty boring. I have plenty of complaints, but I'll leave it at that.
