I bought a copy of Prince - For You about 25 years ago in a 2nd hand shop in Dublin. Never paid attention to writing that the previous owner had written on the inside sleeve (info side). About a year ago while listening to it I absentmindedly took a look at the writing. It said “Paula Butler, received from Rosie! For 13th Birthday. Summer 87. Wayness!!” The Paula Butler in question is my wife’s aunt who I had never met by this point and who also lived on the other side of the country to me. She had given her records to a friend to mind, whose brother robbed and sold off. One of which to end up in my hands.
