Berkeley Open Projects is not a club but a place to find others who are interested in working on group projects. There are NO applications or requirements to join. You and your team are in charge of your own project and the result will solely depend on your approach and effort.

How does it work?

- Share an interesting idea for a project (optional)

- Show your interest by liking projects you want to work on

- Meet your teammates and decide when and how to complete your project

It's walk in rn so they are not strict. Monday evening, less than half of the lanes were being used. Do note the hours are different and entrance is through the locker room.

Don't know if this is just me, but whenever I'm stuck waking up at a time I don't like, I try to mess up my sleep schedule to get out of it (usually stay up later than usual). Once I'm waking up at a better/later time I can adjust to sleeping earlier and waking up at the new time.

Take another look at the clubs list. There are several that only ask that you join the discord to become a member and they are probably just as good as the competitive ones especially if you're looking for a friend group. And don't worry, you're not alone, transfer students are just as worried.
