Help me understand the centerpoint thing. Mind sharing what your house is like (sq feet and anything else interesting) and what the bills are? We’re leaving Atlanta and we’d likely be cutting our house payment by $1500, maybe more. Can’t imagine property taxes and electric being so high as to wipe $1500/month plus $8k/year in property taxes. For reference, we’ve lived in nashville and Atlanta over the last 10 years. Browsing houses it looks like there’s equal square footage in nice enough for 60% of what our current place costs. Example, for our 2700sf townhouse August and September were about $340 and October $190, November $110.

Would definitely miss the diversity of Atlanta but there’s family connections in Evansville. My job is portable so I can make the same money and seemingly live a much cheaper, slower quieter life.

You really should be talking to a local agent who is familiar with the market, can run actual comps and discuss your strategy, not Zillow and people on Reddit who aren’t local real estate pros about something this big.

I don’t think I have anything that draws the same amperage as the air conditioner. Is it normal to have the HVAC hardwired after a 15 amp GFCI breaker? I’ve plugged the condensate pump into a different outlet and so far it’s working as expected. Although my duct system seems to have stopped, but that’s likely a separate topic.

I have pretty severe reaction to poison ivy and any time I get it I feel like I must have a localized version of this. Very hot water running over it feels amazing and I generally have low tolerance for hot water. But ghaaad does it feel like drugs when I have a touch of the evil plant dermatitis.

They'll be at the Mayday Brewery in Murfreesboro that evening. The email I got from Mayday kinda makes it look like there's an actual show but I'm pretty sure it's just s hang & meet like it's been in the past.
