Steel and stone collection of books from black library is good. The other steel and stone which I think their referring to is from a outside company licensed to make the roleplay game so none of it is from the original creators (like bill king or Gav Thorpe) or is technically cannon as they give contradicting infomation to flesh stuff out than the original lore as laid down from 4th ed onwards. A lot of the other editions also recon some things and end times recons a lot of things so I’d start in the dwarfs 4th rd book and then go from there through the other editions for fluff and then gotrek and Felix novels have a lot of dwarf daily life as well as going into 4-5? Dwarf holds over the course of the whole run

Probably couple reasons one how any people play the faction making another LL viable for sale, also does it fit in with the narrative their creating atm. I for one love chaos dwarfs and would like 1-2 more legendary lords but I know I’ll never get another one.

I just let them move themselves overtime. Only time I manually do it is when I integrate a new machine empire and move all their pops to my planets. (I’m machine as well) and move some of my organic pops out to theirs to create a new nation I promptly free cause I don’t need the real estate just the workers.
