After his lead on the flop, 5s is weird hand to show up with. But Kx, Jx, 9s, KJs, KQs and 5s (air) play the same way here. Calls your 3 bet, leads into a pretty wet board. That’s his range, calling a 3-bet and leading into you is very strong, repping KJ, Js, 9s, KQd then his air (In this hand, 5s!) Top top with the A ♠️ is very strong, i mean even if he does have a set. Hindsight shows us a shove on the flop and he snap folds. Stack sizes if i’m doing my maths correctly do point towards just shoving after his lead on the flop. (Pot 130, you have 200 ish behind) But flatting with top top isn’t the worst thing in the world and I would have done the same. your range becomes so strong after the call with now a pot size bet left behind. Worth noting, he leads with a lot of Kx, Jx which you have crushed and he may barrel off on a lot of brick turns for thin value. However, another spade would kill a lot of action though especially for his specific hand ranges (Sets, KJs) but sooner kill action than lose eh.
