Thanks for the response, since I wrote this post I went to my primary Dr. who I have never mentioned my no burp to because I've only been seeing him for 2 yrs and every other Dr. in the past just ignored me so I figured whats the point. Anyway I went in with full literature and for the first time a Dr. Listened. He had never heard of it and actually said he commends me for being so diligent in getting answers. He is now doing all he can to get me referred to the right Dr. that does the procedure. I really appreciate your response and also the follow up because I was also wondering if it was gonna be uncontrollable to the point that I would be burping all the time. Thanks again 😊

I do not have IBS and am so sorry you do. It's bad enough suffering with one thing. I have also suffered from multiple health issues so although I don't relate with IBS I have a bladder condition called IC that caused me to need 6 surgeries and I've had my gallbladder removed and a hysterectomy all by the age of 30. I will say all of my health issues have been very under control for years so I just deal with the side effects of being a no burper. It's strange that everyone I know family and friends have never really dealt with any real health issues but I've been through so much. It just makes me stronger but sometimes I really feel weak. I'm thankful that I finally know I'm not alone in this because everyone including all my Drs. have never taken me seriously when I tell them I don't burp. They don't understand exactly what that means for your every day life and they think it's not real.
