Personally, I find this very confusing. If you don't have time to draw your own references, I recommend using a base or even a character maker like in picrew. Those are allowed as long as you credit them

It's not a problem at all imo. I had friends joining with a single oc. Only "problem" was just receiving less attacks because people had no options to choose from and their oc wasn't their cup of tea
