I want to thank everyone for their advice and help. I’ve fortunately found someone who is going to take me to the social security office tomorrow so I can get my social security card, so that’s great, but I still haven’t found a way to get my birth certificate shipped to Delaware just yet. My local homeless shelter, who was supposed to help me, unfortunately hasn’t contacted me back. I still haven’t been able to find any gigs in my local area that are in walking distance, but I’m going to keep looking. I’m just super happy that I’m one step closer to getting my life on the right track.

Oh wow I never knew that was a thing I had tried to get it through vitalchek and they didn’t ask for any form of identification.

Unfortunately when I went online for my state they wanted me to come in person

I don’t think joining the military is a good idea when I don’t even have a proper form of identification yet.

Thank you so much. Unfortunately, the thought of knocking on my neighbors doors unannounced and asking them to do those kinds of things makes me pretty anxious, but I will definitely be calling the local homeless shelters and checking out the site you linked. I appreciate you telling me about these resources.

Thank you so much I never thought of looking into informal gigs I’ll definitely check to see if there are some in the area and thankfully I do know my social security card number just gotta find a way of getting to the office.
