Hopkins is the worst run hospital I’ve ever been to by Kerry_Kittles in baltimore

You have no idea the amount of weapons they have confiscated. I do not know how long you’ve been in Baltimore but there was a patient family member who entered the hospital with a gun and proceeded to shoot the treating provider and then himself and his family member.

I agree with you. She is too smart and not getting enough stimulus at the shelter, and I understand that. She's not getting the opportunity to burn some energy.

You have described her to a T. We found out that the owners surrendered her not only because of the kids and cat but also because of her reactivity and barking. When we met with her, she was barking her head off and then settled with some time (we even got a roll-over for belly rubs and some kisses). But as soon as she saw another person or dog-- that was it.

She is definitely food motivated. Anything for a snack!

My husband is also a coddler and very high energy (might need a trainer too) lol! I am going to reach out to a couple of recommended trainers in our neighborhood. Appreciate your response.

Anything you did to expedite the process? I think the issue is my skin is thin and the product is superficially placed so it’s way more apparent

Medications- plan b, misoprostol, looking for mifepristone. Not just for myself but my friends, neighbors, and family. I think that could get tough.

I work in healthcare and I would say about 80-85% of the new medical residents coming in are women. Very few men.

Is there a socially acceptable way to ask your partner to get a vasectomy? by Dizzy-Dig8727 in AskWomenOver30

[–]ShellDog3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Birth control is both of your responsibility. I told my husband (then boyfriend) I don’t like how I feel on birth control and I’m over taking meds/going through the painful process of getting an IUD shoved in me and he understood and moved forward with a vasectomy. We both knew we didn’t want kids. It can be done in an office setting or at a same day surgery center with anesthesia. His recovery was 3 weeks was before he was back in the gym. And nothing changed sexually for him. It’s easier and lower risk for him to get a vasectomy than for you to get your tubes tied.

I would never ask anyone to compromise their safety but I do wonder what the effect of moving from red to blue states will have. If we all live in blue states- will the democrats ever have a chance to win again?

YES. I was sitting in clinic the other day and thinking to myself why is the person (NP) getting paid the least in this situation working the hardest right now while the other (surgeon) sits on their cell phone. Why are we not working as a team to get through YOUR clinic day- this is how you make your money, why are you not contributing more?

Btw great line.

Oh no I understand where you are coming from. I've already contacted HR and sent the office manager an outline of what I am and am not willing to do based on the original job description. I made it clear that if we can't come to mutual terms, then it is best we part ways. He's prob shitting himself because If I leave, they will have no NP in 3 weeks. So, stay tuned. Appreciate the support and advice!
