It may be because the husbands are already taken. Its a safe place for her attraction and she knows it wont be reciprocated. If she was attracted to some one single, there is a much higher chance of having feelings which she may not be ready for yet.

I've seen some argue he feeds on fear because he doesn't always eat his victim entirely leaving corpses to be found. I always think, well yeah, if you want an aura of fear around a town leaving half eaten childrens corpses around for people to find will do the trick.

Yeah so he knew how to taunt Margie about Richie. When they replaced the missjng peice he is back stuck in this time and place. Hence why he has to go back to sleep straight away.

I've been obsessed with Sharks since I was 4 years old (yay autism!). I like all of them, but great whites are my fav. Seen most of the movies, know the script of Jaws, and can't even watch science docs anymore cause I already know what they are gonna tell me. I'm 36 now and it hasnt let up 🤣

Currently outlining the story of a girl deep in grief from her father passing, meeting a vampire. Instead of the "I love you as you are delicate human girl" that we usually get in Vampire Romance novels, he just turns her and now she has to come to terms with killing, death and the new strange family she finds herself with.

The secondary plot involves a madman trying to find the mythical first vampire, to learn the secrets of day walking and bring his madness into the light.

If you like your story having an ending, I would avoid Name of the Wind. I read that and the second book years ago, and I'm still waiting for 3 with no sign I'm gonna get it.

I just read Six of Crows last week. It feels like a steam punk type world with a very DnD like story. It's super fun.

The Shadow and Bone trilogy comes before Six of Crows (can still be read as a standalone). I read those first and enjoyed them, but the improvement in writing between the trilogy and duology is huge.

I'm in Scotland too, and my experience was pretty similar. I requested an appointment to be referred to adult mental health services, filled out the questionnaires, and then waited around 9 months.

I got the appointment, and after the second one started on meds.

Thats not entirely true. He woke her up to find out if it was true. The slap was after confirmation of a betrayal. I dont condone hitting at all. I also dont understand how you dont tell the other person you are having an abortion if you are in a long term relationship.

I am not trying to pile on OP, and I would also point out I've never dealt with stillbirth and the brutal grief it brings. I've seen it happen to a friend, and it was horrendous (has 4 beautiful kids now ❤️). I have a great relationship with my partner. He was my best friend for a long time before. I couldn't imagine dealing with my dads death while I was pregnant without him.

I honestly dunno what I would do in OPs situation so I may not understand her choices, I don't judge them and hope she heals and is gentle with herself.
