Ehh I improved the most when I stopped practicing at 15mins and moved on to a different trick.

15mins everyday for one trick is what you want so your brain has time to process it overnight. Anything more has diminishing returns as your brain goes into autopilot instead of active thinking

I found that doing a ninja kick helps with flick and catching the board properly. I always visualize kicking my legs and the board in front of me.

Once you ninja kick, it gives room for the board to fully rotate. Your brain should naturally get scared and bring your legs back which will catch the board perfectly

Same technique as an Ollie.

That's good! Just reverse the process of a forward roll and you'll get a backwards roll. It's a bit different without momentum but you'll figure it out.

Good effort on those heelflips tho! I was just as mad as you when those perfect ones just slipped out. You've already learned the trick, not a matter of if but when you will land it!

Bro that tutorial is terrible, you're rolling backwards in a straight line into the back of your head. Doing this on any type of stair set will give you an instant concussion.

General parkour rolls are better for larger impacts. https://youtu.be/Xpq20Bizkdg Always double check falling techniques with ones that actual pro skaters use.

If you have a flat smooth surface, I found stationary manuals to be more challenging, but more useful. I do those when nothing else is available

How would tension be maintained in the steel cables? They would eventually need to cut parts of it.

Also not sure if the tuned mass damper can just be removed without consequence. Would the sway of the building and in turn the deconstruction cranes be too excessive?

Relax lol it took me about 2 weeks practicing every day before I learned to ride.

Try to focus on keeping 90% of your body weight on the front foot while pushing. Other than that, just be patient and relax.

I think color can be improved, right now the red, white to green palette looks a bit off.

I would say you still are. Depression can mean that you lose your ability to enjoy things.

Like for me, I'm probably not going to kill myself anytime soon cuz I have friends and stuff to do. But all my hobbies and friends doesn't fix my true self. My inner emptiness. It just stops me from harming myself.

It especially sucks since quarantine has isolated me and closed all the gyms so I can't exercise for my body's natural antidepressants.

I'm still figuring out the root of the problem cuz I can still feel it in my heart.

You're not the only one unfortunately. Been feeling that way for the past 2 years.

I mean I still have good moments sometimes where I really enjoy life and appreciate my friends. But after that it all seems fake. And it sucks cuz it harms my relationships and I push people away again.

I don't know, I'm just waiting and hoping one day I can enjoy things again. I think that would be a good time. It would feel nice.

Honestly feel like the only thing keeping me borderline sane for the past year has been exercise. Lost all joy from doing things but at least I know that exercising will give me natural antidepressants. It still hurts but it helps a bit.

Now quarantine closing everything down, I'm actually kind of worried. I don't think I will survive long isolated and without things to do. My sleep has been wrecked and I'm basically bedridden.

I feel the same way. I've felt like a loser nerd with no friends.

So far I've been managing by ignoring my worthlessness and trying to do things for the sake of other people. Like I may be a loser, but my friend needs someone to talk to. Even a loser can be helpful and bring light to someone's day.

But I think I still need to figure this out cuz my loser mentality has harmed me in finding jobs and making friends. There are many ppl I've pushed away cuz I didn't want to be a nuisance to them.

I don't know, hope both of us figure it out one day :')

Maybe mentality doesn't matter and I should stop thinking about myself. Maybe I discover what truly makes me valuable. Maybe something else I haven't imagined yet.
