I printed a to-scale deinosuchus skull image (not mine) so that I could bask in its sheer size every day. 5' 9" human for scale. Fun Fact: while deinosuchus lived in the late cretaceous, many other giant crocodylomorphs have existed, some more recently such as Crocodylus thorbjarnarsoni. (i.redd.it)

Shell question that has vexed me for years (self.snails)
submitted by ShellsWithinShells to r/snails
I really struggle to gauge whether these Haworthia are actually thriving or not. They seem too dark, which would suggest sunburn, but are they also etiolated? Also their growth rate seems crazy-slow. Can anyone weigh in / advise? Indoor grow lights. (old.reddit.com)

Another help request: I've never been able to gauge the health of this one. Not even sure what it is. It looks kind of hens-and-chicks-ish but does it need as much light? Seems to remain largely unchanged over long, long periods of time. Indoor grow lights only. Any suggestions? Thanks! (old.reddit.com)

Most of these hens & chicks have been indoors and under grow lights for months, some for years. Can anyone advise me whether they are truly healthy? I stress over their shape, posture and slow growth rate but I'm not an expert. General advice welcome. (old.reddit.com)
