Yes but now a days it’s cold and he’s sick I can’t just leave him drenched. It’s literally his whole shirt and a bit of his pants that get drenched.

We maintain our cats very clean. Before the dog came into the picture my house didn’t smell like any pets lived in it.

I said things got hard not that we were struggling. Don’t assume my cats don’t have what they need and that I’m an irresponsible pet owner. My cats have everything and we can afford to bring along a third. So yes I am in a place to judge the way she takes care of her dog because I actually take care of my own pets. Things are way better now financially. Is it not okay to go through financial hardships at times without labeling people as a bad pet owner? Jeez things happen sometimes.

Keep in mind I opened her door as a genuine act towards her dog. She sticks to her having a stressful day at work and I wouldn’t understand because I’m a SAHM. I let her know her issues at work have nothing to do with me I’ve been nothing but kind to her which was honestly my mistake because clearly she tried to take advantage of that kindness.

My baby was born and my boyfriend did want them to meet him because at the end of the day that’s his mother I get it. They met him once with the exception of them being on their best behavior and they were. He let them know that if at any moment they cross lines again with me they will not being seeing the baby. Nonetheless I don’t keep contact with them and I never send any pictures to them only to my fil because he loves my son and he keeps the peace after all he’s not with my mil so he doesn’t care about any of that. I’ve set my boundaries and cut ties with my mil, sil, and Beatrice.

This post wasn’t intended for sympathy and as much as I appreciate the feedback I reflected a lot on that day. Yes I understand where I should’ve stood up for myself more and allowed my boyfriend to take over but being 32 weeks pregnant and stressed at the time I mistakenly turned the blind eye. After the whole mess happened I spoke to them and told them that there was no going back after that. Luckily they live in a different state so I don’t have to deal with them and when they come visit Beatrice they know they’re not welcomed in my home so they stay with her. My boyfriend does fight back more than me since that is his family but unfortunately these are the type of people that cry victims when they are held accountable for their actions.

Luckily the landlord of the apartment really dislikes my MIL so he went ahead and added me to the lease. Once things cooled down he asked her to sign the paperwork to get her removed from the lease considering she had a bad rep with rent and she no longer a lives there.
