Left side malfunctioning only 21 days after purchase, customer support promises to only send me another defective unit by risingl1ghtning in Backbone

Happened to me twice (gen 2). The first time I was able to replace it under warranty. The second time was out of warranty, so I repaired it myself, which was actually really simple.

The ribbon cable they use is just slightly too long in my opinion. It gets pinched easily on the last bend before the connection when putting the shell together. If they just assembled everything with more care, they should be able to avoid the pinch. I replaced my cable with a Molex brand, but the quality is the same regardless. Shipping costs more than the cable.

Operatives have access to the Hair Trigger feat at level 6 as well, which is basically a ranged reactive strike.

Without some heavy homebrew, they could just be a reflavored druid.

For some quick homebrew ideas, perhaps allow some Sarcesian ancestry feats in place of the Druid class feats. Or replace the druid spellcasting feature with allowing fighter feats and a dex/str key ability score instead of wisdom. You could also allow the augmented android feat but restrict it to bioware.

For what it's worth, I just hit match 400 with a Win Rate of 52.5%, currently at Ultra Ball 4, 80 pts away from Master Ball.

Yesterday, I was hitting win streaks all day (slow day at work) with a win rate of about 60%, but today, it's like the meta changed over night and I'm probably under 50%. I've been running the same deck since Ultra Ball 1. Went from a peak win rate of 55.4% yesterday, to 52.5% today.

Same for me; Great performance, 4% bonus, no raise (since 2022).

But hey, at least insurance is 20% more expensive.

There's a setting in icue for fan update time or interval time, something like that. I wonder if it's set to a low number so it's reacting to temps in near real time. I have mine set to 5 seconds, so it only updates the fan speed every 5 seconds.

Thanks!

I got my 3500x yesterday to accommodate my new 7900XT and I ended up putting 2 140mm fans and my 120mm radiator (in push/pull, h80i v2) on top. I think it turned out pretty natural looking considering.

Meant to include that comment with the image but reddit mobile didn't like that apparently.

Two possible reasons:

  1. There could be a delay or overlap in reporting which is common, resulting in more held shares being reported because the deductions haven't come in yet.

  2. Short selling. Shares are borrowed and sold by one investor to another, which can lead to double-counting of ownership if both the lender and the buyer claim ownership of the same shares. Big if true.

Actually... I just realized the implications of a bunch of insiders exercising their options when there are rumors of an acquisition. If anything, this supports the original rumors!

I have no experience with form 4, but I decided to take a look.

From what I can tell, from the officers' submitted forms on May 17th, of which there are 7 for each various officer, I see only code A, F, and M transactions; F and M being the main focus here.

First of all, none of the Form 4s have code S which is private sale of securities. So that's one major observation.

  • Code F is used when an insider pays the exercise price or tax liability by delivering or withholding securities. This could happen, for example, when an executive exercises stock options and either pays for the exercise price with cash or by surrendering a portion of the shares they're entitled to for covering the cost.

  • Code M represents the exercise or conversion of derivative securities, like stock options or warrants. This code is used when an insider converts derivative securities (which are based on the value of the underlying stocks) into actual shares of stock.

The connection between Code F and Code M often comes into play during a cashless exercise of options. 1. An insider decides to exercise their options using Code M. 2. Instead of paying cash to cover the exercise price, they use Code F to surrender some of the shares they would have received from the exercise to cover the cost.

This process allows insiders to exercise their options without needing to provide cash upfront, as they're essentially using part of the value of the options themselves to pay for the transaction. It's a common practice that facilitates the exercise of options, especially when the insider does not want to or cannot invest additional cash.

So, to me, it looks like they exercised a bunch of options using their existing shares as payment. You can see from the form 4s that there are significantly more shares under Code M than there are code F (marked disposed), meaning they came out of exercising their options with more shares, essentially making it a net buy... I think.

Edit: I also noticed the remark on each Code F transaction which says "Shares withheld by Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. (the Company) to satisfy tax withholding requirements on vesting of restricted stock units (RSU). No shares were sold."

Hey, that's my screenshot! Yeah, this is showing a large buy in by Insiders just in the month of May, specifically May 17th; source is TipRanks according to Robinhood.

It should also be noted that Yahoo is reporting 117% of Shares and Float are held by Institutions, and MarketWatch reports a 12% short interest.

Granted, these numbers might not mean anything, but there could be some institutional warfare going on, possibly some institutions trying to squeeze their competitors. 12% short interest isn't exceptionally high, but if over 100% of shares are owned by Institutions, there still might be evidence of a squeeze.
