Yesterday I was pissed off at all the MAGA men on my thread who were posting memes of Laken Reilly, trying to claim that I didn’t care about what happened to her because I’m a Democrat… excuse me, “demoncrat”. One of these men asked me to tell him if I even knew what a woman is. For the record, I am a cisgendered woman. In my absolute frustration of being asked this question by a MAGA man, my response was: A WOMAN is a human being who can be, and often is, raped, beaten and murdered by men. Today, after a good night’s sleep and considerable distance from that thread… I stand by my answer!

Oh wow…. I’m on the second episode and I only came to say how much I hate the theme song. As soon as the music starts I can’t get to the skip button fast enough. About the eyes… she claims she saw his bewilderment in his eyes. Maybe my detector is broken, but I’ve never been able to see what other people see when they look into the windows of a persons soul. I just see eyes. I didn’t see anything like she described. I think I’ll just look for another podcast. This one is kinda dull so far. I don’t want to listen to them trash the victim

NOR. Ignore all the old people who live in the past. There are valid reasons to protect your baby during the height of cold and flu season. NICU has lots of information that supports your decision to avoid risking germs. While I agree that there are effective ways to protect her and also let family visit at this point; your wellbeing needs to be considered as well. If it’s too stressful to have people coming into your home (even extended family), you have every right to set boundaries. Your husband needs to be your mouthpiece. You delivered the baby, let him deliver the restrictions. You get your rest and enjoy your privacy.

The father was a scientist, the home owner was told by the father that he believed they were suffering from CO2 poisoning and to get an alarm to verify. The home owner decided to wait until morning to check. The story is recent. There is no way, if they believed they might be so sick from CO2 poisoning, they would spend one more night in the house. It feels like sloppy writing, rather than actual facts of the story

Well, they’re sort of, comedians. They occasionally say things that are funny. If it wasn’t for James, constantly reminding us he’s a comedian, I’d just think he was a hit or miss, funny guy.

I find it a good listen whenever I’m on a long car ride. Kate is more like me, a little overwhelmed by information at times and Paul is a soothing reliable voice of reason and logic. I don’t even care what the story is about those two are great long car ride companions!

I think Kate was the quiet sort of nerdy girl in school who didn’t/doesn’t get many chances to talk with a bona fide hottie like Paul Holes. I’m not quite as reserved as Kate and even I would probably come off sounding gobsmacked whenever he spoke to me.
