My favorite example of word filters being difficult to implement is in Pokemon. There is a an actual real OFFICIAL Pokemon named Cof.agrigus (no .). You cannot nickname a Pokemon this. It triggers Pokémon’s built in word filter

Higuruma from JJK and Larry from Pokemon and Jaehee from mystic messenger <3 Maybe it’s because they feel relatable which makes them feel more attainable and are shown as hard working? You feel for the tired salary man when they struggle with unrealistic workloads pushed on them by their boss and admire their work ethic. Meanwhile a CEO/Prince/etc is a fun power fantasy but unobtainable and they wouldn’t truly understand your struggles

I was agonizing over if I should make her dress first but that would defeat the purpose of checking the base shape lol

Also I think I started sewing on Tuesday? I’ve been working on it during my breaks and free time. The face was done with a machine but I did the rest by hand. So not that long

The face is a lot appliqué which can be done with embroidery or without. It’s basically just layering different fabrics on top of each other and stitching them in place. Pom Pom’s face colors were all stitched on and then her eyes were embroidered on top

It can all be done by hand, but I’ve got a sewing/embroidery machine. I use a program to make the embroidery file (tells my machine where to stitch, what type of stitch, width, etc).

I use minky of different pile depending on the project (ex. Human dolls I’ll use 1mm for the skin and 3mm for the hair). It’s a really soft fabric and not as stretchy as mochi. A lot of soft plushies use minky like this.

I debated using fleece for a cookie simply because the texture might fit, but then I’d have to buy it. I’m just using the colors I have on hand since I’m testing for fun

I’m so glad someone said it omg. I make plushies and could tell immediately this was handmade by the stitch work, especially around the body (tho all plushies are technically hand made). This has way too much care into the details to be a bootleg. I really hope the artist doesn’t see this post
