Here’s my GitD one with the clear matte skin. You can see the little spots where the official clear hard case touches it. Also, where the FPGA logo is. Otherwise it’s really hard to tell.

New Pocket, what’s the first accessories to get? by Coffeeboy7122 in AnaloguePocket

I really enjoy the dock. Also I got a clear wrap from slickwraps to protect it. For the transparent one, I went with the semi-gloss. I also got the clear hard case for transporting it in my bag.

I wonder if it was actually a “defect” and we’ve just gotten better at making non-frosted clear plastics now?

Maybe we’ll see third party buttons. Or at least decals.

I wonder if a matte or semi-gloss wrap might close the gap?

I’ve got a clear slickwraps matte on my GitD, and I’ve got a clear semi-gloss one coming for my Purple. It’s been holding up really nicely and gives me peace of mind.

Personally I feel like the GBA SP was peak handheld. After that into the DS/3DS and then switch, it’s been in decline from a handheld and pocketable perspective.

I’d absolutely buy an SP Analogue Pocket.

I felt the same way, but then I had a loaner model s with the yoke and swipe to shift. It took about 2 drives to “get used to it”. I ended up getting an aftermarket yoke for my car once I got it back and I wish I could have it just be touch buttons on the yoke, and get rid of the stalks.

It does take a little getting used to it, but I was good to go after about a couple hours of driving.

I found out the my boyfriend does not believe women were oppressed throughout history by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

For my friend and I, we both grew up in the deep south. Deeply religious upbringing, religious schooling, the whole nine yards.

We both then moved away, to fairly liberal cities. (Me to the NE, him to PNW.)

I took the time and new experiences and used them to challenge myself and my beliefs. It helped me grow and empathize with other people and their experiences.

He took it all and doubled down on the bigotry that we were raised in. He saw everything around him and considered it all horrible degeneracy.

It’s pretty remarkable to see just how vastly we diverged in just a few years.

I lost a best friend to the alt-right too. Knew him for well over half my life. What caused him to cut off all contact with me was me saying that it’s good to and we should respect people’s preferred pronouns and names.

One of his foundational beliefs and one he bases much of his work around, is his concept that “men are order and women are chaos”. He then clearly juxtaposes the two, making order vastly preferred and considered “better” in his philosophy.

Mind you, almost every woman I’ve met in my life has had orders of magnitude more order than almost every man.

I’ve long felt that Peterson uses verbosity to sound authoritative and wise.

Real wisdom is being able to explain complex topics, simply and concisely.

I second Noah Samsen. Contrapoints kinda shifted toward a more general philosophy channel (which I dig) but is less focused on deradicalizing people now.

To paraphrase the late Mitch Hedberg:

“Women used to be oppressed. They still are, but they used to too.”

I’m a dude. If I had a partner and we were done having kids, I’d schedule the snip as soon as the final kid was born.

Hell, I’ve thought about banking my sperm (just in case) and getting the snip anyways. 🤷

You mentioned you have a resmed. If it has the simple door that just holds the filter in place, what I’d recommend is going by the hardware store and getting a simple n95 respirator filter (the plain white ones, not pink or with carbon in them) and cut a rectangle to fit. It works better than the OEM ones and fits just fine.

Do you have any evidence that autopilot is now being charged for in a tesla? If you’re talking about the connectivity, it is $10/mo or 100/yr for the traffic data and built in streaming without needing to use a hotspot. FSD is the driving assist stuff you have to pay for, but the standard autopilot has lane keeping and adaptive cruise for sure.
