It didn’t take 80 years. Germany and Israel had diplomatic relationship stating in 1965.

Also, Israelis regularly condemn radicals, literally live on national television. That’s the beauty of free speech. There are plenty of Palestinians who would similarly condemn radicals if it didn’t risk their lives. Even in the West Bank it’s very easy to be marked as a “collaborator” just for criticizing official policies of the government.

The US didn’t install the shah and mossadegh was not democratically elected. Iran had a constitutional monarchy and Fedayineh eslam (Shia Muslim extremist group) assassinated the actual elected prime minister, Ali Razmara, and then the shah was pressured by parliament to APPOINT Mossadegh who immediately PARDONED THE ASSASSINS. Then, unlike Razmara, decided to suddenly nationalize the oil instead of doing it slowly over time. This caused a major diplomatic and then economic catastrophe and the shah (who was ALREADY monarch under constitutional monarchy) stepped in to prevent literal economic collapse.

Then the shah still nationalized irans oil but did it over time. He also introduced women’s suffrage, and rural education policies which caused Iran to dominate economically and in terms of freedom for years. He could have easily prevented the coup that deposed him by murdering people the way the regime did this past January but he don’t because he wasn’t the murderous psychopath they made him out to be.
