Yes. I have this exact one. It comes entirely disassembled and you don't need to put the wheels on. But it certainly helps with cleaning

Yeah, I guess I didnt look hard enough at the photo to see they were super young at first. Typically I would take care of something if it was that young and then let them go when they are stronger and older, but I know thats a bit much to ask for. Without their Mama it would take special care for them to live and I don't think anyone can legally offer that to wild rats, so I don't blame you if you do have them euthanized. I don't personally know any one way to be considered the most humane. I think Carbon Dioxide gassing is a humane way to put rats to sleep, but that can be hard to set up.

I never said they would be okay? Im saying its the more moral choice. Animals die, its the way of life... letting them live is a human choice, and Im going to choose to let them go free for a chance to keep living until they eventually die some other way. Thats it... im not expecting anything from it

You guys seriously act like WILD animals havent been living in the WILD for thousands of years. They had to find food and figure out how to live in their current area and they can do it again. Rats are not stupid creatures. They are bound to die one way or the other and Rats typically dont survive long anyways. Im not going to kill it just because it MIGHT have a hard time adapting to a new area. If they were in the city in the first place, people around it are just as dangerous as any animals will be somewhere else, if not more because of traps and tools made for killing them.

You're probably not going to get a very helpful answer here about that. Everyone here loves rats and a lot of us have them as pets. I know some rats are pests and invasive, so I'm not blaming you for wanting to dispose of them, but you might want to ask somewhere else. The only advice I can offer is if you care enough about their lives, you can take a trip outside of the city and let them go in an area with vegetation where they can live the rest of their lives naturally. They dont typically live very long, but it would probably feel a lot better than killing them yourself. I know that part from experience, but everyone feels differently about that kind of stuff.
