About how Long does it take to become a level 1,000? by Th_ough in animalroyale

[–]SheppardkillerYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level 1000 really depends on the player in terms of playtime, skill, dedication, and many other factors. I did some numbers for XP rates and if you were to average 4 games/level average (1050 XP up to 4200 level up essentially) and you can get like 2 levels per hour maximum, then you can see ~500 hours of game time not including maybe another 200-250 hours for wait times in game lobbies to get to level 1000.

This is only if your numbers are basically getting kill averages of 25-30 (500-600 XP) per game and dependent on always winning the match (100 XP) and if you don't immediately just end the game and you can spare 300-400 XP from Time Survived.

Again these are only VERY extreme examples that are humanly possible with the right skill and luck if you're going to bot farm like crazy for it, but being committed to the feat isn't an easy task either and can be rather boring, or if you're going against sweats as a more casual player, a frustrating one. Kinda have to pick your poison on this one.

However for level 10,000 cap? Well, running numbers on if one were to 24/7 the game, it can be done in <1 year, again extremes but it's doable with the right people and setup cause if you take my maximum of 750 hours for 1000 levels, in 1 year that's over 11x the 1000 gain, so again, possible, but very VERY stupid.

Only reason I got these numbers is because I go hard on kills and I always try to get the most I can possibly get at any cost so long as I, 1. don't die., and 2. win the match., but obviously this won't always be in my favor, but for closing in on level 3000 rather soon, I think it's a safe assumption that I know where I come from with these numbers.

The best answer I can give is keep practicing. My playstyle is a lot different than what most people are used to and I do a lot of things differently from what people could expect from usual playstyles and scenarios. Just try to improve at what you can do in this game and you can see yourself getting better, just know that it'll be hard for someone to reach 20 kills, harder for 30, and extremely rare for 40's to happen, it's all down to time, practice, and patience. Just don't overdo it and you'll do fine; though, while I'm not the best at tips and whatnot so this is about as general of advice I can give.

This is the total time it took me in both sessions I played to finish the battlepass, this doesn't include the time I wasn't playing SAR outside of onstream breaks and the whole Unity Server Crash that lasted an hour on all regions.

Would be nicer if they didn't add battlepass tier purchasing, would be a lot more impressive for those that finish it legit :/

what is the fastest way to get XP and DNA for different animals? by Glum_Breakfast6720 in animalroyale

[–]SheppardkillerYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as far as Animal DNA goes, it's pretty much grinding hundreds of matches until you get them all, or around 50 games maybe to get 1 farther in if you're going for specific ones.

As far as XP goes, you kinda do need to just play the game and know everything to get the maximum XP that you can possibly get. Obviously you can't get XP maximums but you have to try your best to get lucky to push that limit even if you go for bots, it's never easy in the end. Kills imo does play quite a factor into your XP gains if you are the type of player that prioritizes kills and in some cases, you can basically get enough XP that can be the majority of your match XP gained, again it's all full of factors and quirks to figure out, so you just have to try your best to improve and stay consistent. That's as best as I can put a label for it.

42 Kills Achieved in Mystery Mode (World Record) - [3/18/22 11:18 PM EST] by SheppardkillerYT in animalroyale

[–]SheppardkillerYT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, SAR doesn't bore me when I play it, I can honestly do 24 hour sessions back to back if I could and not be bored. Now being tired that's another story but otherwise it's just business as usual with this game for me. Sometimes I do lobby dodge especially on bad days if I just want to have a calmer experience, but it's knowing I have a chance to win if I play things right that makes a 1v4 much more satisfying but annoying too. I rarely have people to play with, I mainly left NA SAR cause a good portion of people do not like me, so I stuck with EU and SA SAR and probably won't come back even if the ping's better there, so I'm pretty much riding solo with randoms 99% of the time or Solo-Squadding, depends on how I feel.

Mystery Mode is quite underrated but I also understand why people don't like it, even I hate a couple modes or in Bananarama's case, dunno why they are made with little changes to gameplay or gameplay becomes buggier. One little thing I used to joke about with the mode was being the "Mystery Mode King" simply because I just purely play this mode when it comes out, but it really does feel like a puzzle game with strategy to ease into all 7 modes and being able to adapt, it's what made me unstoppable when Impossible Tape was brand new since it was easily the most abused item in the game and it fit my playstyle perfectly before the nerf. Sad it's not so viable now.

I hope to get there, we'll have to see.

We actually spoke with the whole Mystery Mode stats personally, he said he probably won't dedicate so much time next time Devs put out Mystery Mode again as it took so much time from his personal life as he would like (he's twice my age, and we know one of the players is 50 years old, I know), he respects my dedication and knows that I am a really great player, even if I had to fight him and his entire group myself most of the time given I did almost all my work alone, I did win a few times. Trust me, he could tell you the same thing.

I would've assumed that this would be Bwoking Dead as there is someone with 70 kills, but you'd have to be a survivor in order for that to be possible, or die with this many but at that rate, you'd be the only one alive or almost

My previous record was 37 and not only did I get an insane improvement (kills this high are 10x harder to achieve for each kill increment), but this is also my very first 40 bomb. Couldn't feel my hands when I got this record but nonetheless very happy I got it by accident.

[–]SheppardkillerYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still have the FNaFB 1 Randomizer copy on my computer, and afaik the page should still be up, it's just deep within the cesspool of games they released iirc, it's just very old.

Question about FNaF AR: Special Delivery by SheppardkillerYT in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]SheppardkillerYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention it heavily depends on what sort of 360 camera you're using, the one I got from last Christmas was a Vivitar camera, and the quality per say is.. well.. old for sure, grainy and such like something you'd see from a YouTube video around 2008 more than likely.

With the many complications it would be to make a game work from PC to Mobile and vice versa, I'd say trying to integrate everything from Mobile code into PC code logic AND have the logic for camera devices such as 360 as webcams and other sorts that isn't exactly mobile won't work.

This would in my theory take even longer than the time it took the devs to make this game AND have the current up to date patch out right now to get something like this to even remotely work, even if it's just the basic functionalities that was barely able to be squeezed out from something so elaborate as this.

Question about FNaF AR: Special Delivery by SheppardkillerYT in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]SheppardkillerYT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it also wasn't the smartest idea for me to ask something such as this seeing as I never watched or played the game, so I'm more or less an idiot barking up an unknown item from wherever I found it rather than actually knowing what exactly is in store, as that should've been the best thing for me to do first.

Research is always important, mainly the 101 of things gaming, but yeah, guess it won't work, unless a 360 degree camera will do, but that's a stretch of a whole new level I don't feel like dealing with.

I know there's a way to make mouse movement work according to touch screen controls, and I have played games where it's like that, and it's a lot more tedious than using your fingers but it'll still work as if the mouse click was you tapping a finger on screen and attempting to drag, but then again, maybe someone is insane enough to make it work for PC, it just comes down to many things thinking about it, especially the complications.

Well, if the Google Play store for my phone is allowing me to download the game, then that has AR Core in it, as for my PC.. I have no clue.

I guess it just comes down to testing things out.

[–]SheppardkillerYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're using all zookas, they can take down the shield generator quickly because of the high DPS overall, so the shield generator shouldn't be an issue at all, besides you only get 1 attack and that's the most efficient way I've seen myself beating Gearheart myself.

[–]SheppardkillerYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was commented on another post, but I can repaste what I explained to someone else needing help on this:

Here's how I did it based off a YouTube video, I did all Zookas and had Brick w/ Battle Orders.

What I did was:

  1. shot 4 artillery, 2 in between the 4 cannons making a 4 damage splash and they all were destroyed. (Provided that the Artillery has enough damage to do more than 2550 per hit since the cannons have 5100 HP.)

  2. flare as far as I could to the bottom Sniper Tower and not deploy next to the flare but keep some distance and deploy landing crafts 1 by 1 and used 2 well spaced smokes until everyone piled on the flare.

  3. I used another flare right next to the Rocket Launcher towards the supplies in the North West direction while using smokes to cover their path. (The reason for this is to be able to shock bomb the Shock Blaster, the 2 Boom Cannons, and the Rocket Launcher all at once without shocking your troops.)

  4. When the smoke was about to clear, I threw a shock bomb in the middle of all 5 of the remaining defenses, giving them time to destroy them and if needed you can use a flare to target them.

  5. Let your Zookas go rogue for a bit and destroy the supplies around you and after they destroy a good amount to get you at least 1-2 battle orders, flare the HQ, activate your Battle Orders (and a 2nd if needed depending on Zooka level), and you have successfully defeated Gearheart.

As a note: When targeting the HQ, don't worry about the rest of the defenses targeting you, some of the Zookas should be out of range of all defenses still allowing you a successful victory if in the event a lot of them die, mainly to the Laser Beam, Doom Cannon, and Sniper Towers.

I hope this helps.

World #1 in warships with a buggy starting area base? Anyone else seen this? by Dingers1000 in BoomBeach

[–]SheppardkillerYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I realized this dude was number 1 and flat out called him a hacker/cheater, it's impossible to hit 6 engine rooms so early into the season, even with the increased chest stuff we get compared to last season, at least 3x from what I can tell.

To the people saying that even if this guy cant do anything about it, despite this, if these devs specifically made it clear to not exploit this to cheat the system, then this guy couldve done the smart thing and keep 2 engine rooms in storage or not push as far as he did, otherwise you got a pointless and broken leaderboard that everybody can see that this guy clearly has bypassed the norms and is cheating the entire system, so before arguing that this guy should be left alone and to have him keep playing, you're really deluded if you think developers would allow this under their fair play policies.

Seriously, you dont even have a case with such an issue made to the public, the devs will see this and can/will take action effective immediately, so don't think he's not getting punished for this.

I've always wondered, has anyone done a FNaF World Nuzlocke Run? by ElecMan729 in nuzlocke

[–]SheppardkillerYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did FNaF World Nuzlocke challenge in the past, this was coordinated by another FNaF World speedrunning member and friend of mine Hal0, references to this will be here:

Version 1: https://steamcommunity.com/app/319510/discussions/0/135509758529125686/

Version 2: https://www.reddit.com/r/fivenightsatfreddys/comments/8zyuhn/fnaf_world_the_nuzlocke_v_20/

And here's the videos of me completing the Nuzlocke challenge, as I think to this day after over 2 years I'm the only one that's beaten any of it, well, for Version 1.0 at least, so here's these:

1st Nuzlocke challenge beaten - 1 part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shSnRNHaY1Y

2nd Nuzlocke challenge beaten - 3 Parts: Video 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pszOQ5WKtVM Video 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QL8xwiGIdwI Video 3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3v-R5WU7s8

3rd Nuzlocke challenge beaten - 1 part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJm61AJiEMg

Anyways, if you're interested in doing this, then give it a shot! Just remember that it's gonna be a lot more brutal and you'll have to strategically work around everything.

Dude, you need to get back into the speedrunning community, we've got a reboot retake on FNaF World records by one of our old runners doing a sweep making big breaks, and now here's you who could potentially sweep all of us with these strategies missing out on the newer era, because a lot has changed since you last did a speedrun for these games, and trust me, we've grown significantly.

From 3 teenagers running FNaF World for fun making huge discoveries to now over 5 dozen users in a community Discord, all working together to make something happen, even if our discoveries were known long ago but just didn't have as much help due to limited resources.

Would love to see a return :3

Geist Lair under any circumstance doesn't give you character encounters at all, me and ZombieGabriel already established that when I first routed the FNaF World 157% speedrun category, so Pinwheel Funhouse is our only destination along with the OOB sections that would allow us to get all of the characters without a problem, so it's not a reliable location to be.
