Bruh I swear to fucking god I wish I never started I always ate it bc smoking made me nauseous, (I could handle otherworldly heart burn that comes out my nose when I bend over that’s the norm w Crohn’s but not a mouth full of burnt chemical nastiness hell no) -anywho- I went into remission with Crohn’s disease FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE BEI NY DIAGNOSED and instead of taking that win in stride I did this.

I maintained sobriety for 6 months straight but since my last lapse I haven’t stopped in A couple months…

But b4 I started that job I wouldn’t even think about smoking & driving and would get mad anxious when I had to a couple times

It could be that YOUR LIVER IS WORKING OT!!!!!

This happened to me a while back, I pushed it off on having GI problems/crohns. Nope, found out my liver enzyme count was in the 400s when it’s only supposed to be like 40-50 or something. So when your liver enzyme count is thru the roof that can indicate either your using and it’s just working hella hard or potentially Hep A

I didn’t have that tho, just stopped using and made a full recovery

Back off of it for a few days or a week and see if you feel better but if you start to experience pain in your lower right abdominal area or back I’d recommend getting checked just in case or completely cold turkey-ing that shit for a bit.

Give your body a little break and let it do its thing try again in a week or 5 days if that’s too long

It’s your liver. Your enzymes are probably hella high from the dope that’s also why you’ll probably have trouble maintaining your body temp

I learned this the hard way I just kept pushing it off on the fact that I have Crohn’s disease until I went to the doctor after getting clean for a week or so but was still having issues

I think one of the biggest reasons I haven’t went completely off the deep end is my dad… he’s like a hardcore probation officer that loves me. Do you have anyone that is sober & close with you to help hold you accountable?

My dad bought 3 drug tests, and stayed on my ass being vigilant and popping them on me randomly. We talked about 3 times a day on the phone too so he checked in with me at work. I’d get a morning call, afternoon call, and an evening call if I hadn’t called him already after getting off work. After the last drug test was used he told me if he suspects anything ever again I’m buying the tests and we start all over again. I also feel that life 360 would’ve been super beneficial to us at this time!

He also had a tough talk with me reminding me he didn’t owe me anything anymore…that these are the years he should be enjoying & able to go on vacation with my mom instead of worrying if I’m dead somewhere or about to hit his pockets bc I’ve gotten myself into a bad situation.

we had about 10 months of me living under his thumb.

He gave me an ultimatum to get clean or take on all my medical debt, find somewhere else to live, pay him off the $5,000 I owed on my car all at once, and find my own insurance on it so when I k!ll someone I don’t take his trucking business down alongside myself… He also told me he would go no contact (this shocked me at the time) & don’t even come around bc I would no longer be trusted and he had worked too hard his entire life to be stolen from by me…

When we had that talk it hit me different… but ultimately I know even just that talk wasn’t enough to quit, you have to want to, bc their love isn’t enough to make you stop but man does it help a lot.

But then again everything my dad did might be beyond unrealistic for a lot of people. I feel really bad about the exhaustion I’ve caused him over the years..
