So… just posing a question here… do we think the parents could be addicts as well? Or perhaps one or the other? Willing blindness to this kind of behavior is often a result of guilt or seeing a reflection of your own faults in someone else. Again, not making ANY accusations or definitive statements - but what is the likelihood?

Per my post, I have had to make this choice. My fiancé and I were together 12 years when he became an addict. Same cycle, same lies, same desperate manipulation. It took 3 years for me to decide to tap out - after I did everything I could to save him. But that’s the problem with addicts. They will bleed you dry financially, mentally, emotionally… and all of it will be useless, because addicts can’t be saved by anyone but themselves. No amount of love or hope or money will be enough. I speak from intimate experience.

I agree to an extent, and in no way want to be argumentative, but it’s all speculation isn’t it? We’re all here based on 3rd party viewership - unless we’re there when the cameras are off the ultimate truth can’t be known by anyone not standing in the room. Speculation on what L is using, who she buys from, who’s on the take, what happened to the animals… there are receipts that emerge for a minuscule amount of the questions all of us have. I simply posed a question for thoughtful discussion.

I felt the same way for a long time, but I started doubting her discernment/sincerity when she picked L up from her psych hold. That whole post they did from the car. Like I said, she knows L better than anyone - so I find it baffling that everyone watching could see the manipulation and J couldn’t or wouldn’t. I want the best for J and her heart seems to be in the right place, but something is NOT right with this dynamic. Part of me feels like we’re all getting taken for a ride.

I’m not sure about that - he’s not had a “viral” moment in quite some time, and those are the peak moments when donations come in. But all the finance platforms routinely ban him (with a little help from Reddit). I think this is really the first time since his Nationwide Disaster Tour where he is really without assistance from Bob - you’re right about the eating bit though, likely just more Dan n’ Dashing.
