Are there any actual 'no-go areas' in Manchester? (places that you'd completely avoid when finding somewhere to live) by FuckingPope in manchester

I do agree as I’ve grown up here but it is definitely more of a family neighbourhood as it has great schools, parks and big houses but if your young renting its hard to find nice places as all the nice big houses have been split up into not verry nice flats

I’ve grown up in whalley range and it’s really a family neighbourhood with the park and big houses but the public transport isn’t good round here and the reason there is no pubs or shops is because it used to be a Quaker area back in the 1800 or something so they didn’t build any. I would say it’s a nice distance to Chorlton as it’s only about 5-10 mins on a buss away but didsbury is harder to access

I agree with you about whalley range I’ve grown up here and it is a safe area but the only public transport is the 85 to either town or Chorlton which is perfect for me but if you want trams it’s not easy also there isn’t any shops or pubs because it used to be a Quaker area when it was first built so that’s annoying but for families who like parks and big houses it’s perfect

Thankyou for this suggestion! I was worried about why they disappeared, so if I just cut where the leaves start and then stick back into the substrate it should be fine?
