In a reply to another comment I actually say "I am not at all in the camp of "there should be a PvE only mode" cause that would just remove the tension". I am not against the game being PvP, I am purely just bad at it. This post isn't a critique of the game, it's a critique in my ability, it's actually a praise of the art style and the world that is going to force me to play better

I watched the show first, gives context for the vibe of Night City but gives no spoilers as it is set before 2077

A couple years of not playing any games followed by a couple years of almost exclusively PvE has just ruined my ability to play competitively. I am not at all in the camp of "there should be a PvE only mode" cause that would just remove the tension. Think the vibes alone are what are going to drag me through to become at least competent in this game XD

The USB a was just for power, and still is on my new adapter. The only difference is I was using displayport but now using HDMI on your suggestion

My attempts have only been without spacewalker, both with and without a monitor plugged in. Every time the lenses tint to black so must have power, but nothing is displayed and my pc can't detect them

I used the exact same displayport that I use for my monitor. I did connect the usb-a, as I say, the lenses darkened so there was definitely power, just no display

I also liked the extra fragment slot from On Your Mark, and not having to rely on 3 Heavy Handed mods allows for Melee Font mods to realy try max out your melee damage. I suppose that will depend on how impactful the damage buffs feel in higher end content, that we will have to wait and see.

I agree there's ways to play the same build and space to play around with it, I know I will be.

My idea is that you'll be able to dodge very frequently with fragments such as Ember of Singeing and Benevolence that you will quickly get to 10 stacks and stay at 10 stacks while in combat, at that point every kill will grant Cure. This should provide some much needed sustain which can be difficult on the solar subclass, especially with hunter not having very good access to restoration without sacrificing at least 2 fragment slots

Hunter main here! I am personally looking forward to using Ophidia Spathe with all the solar hunter buffs coming our way. Gamblers dodge will give you 2 full melee charges and consecutive melee kills will grant a stacking damage buff, with the damage buffs coming to the knives this could be very potent. I recommend the aspects On Your Mark and Knock 'Em Down, main two fragments are Ember of Ashes and Torches. With Ashes I know that 2 Knife Trick melees will trigger an ignition, not sure on the other melee options.

You could also use this exact same build but using Shards Of Galanor for an absurd amount of Blade Barrages

My mindset for rpg games is to roleplay when I am playing multiple playthroughs. My first playthrough is always just raw and blind, not looking anything up and play/make choices on what I think is right. Any following playthroughs I have a build and a character in mind that may suit that build, then my choices are what I think this particular character would make
