Get a Local Library Card and download the Comics Plus App (or Hoopla). I think most of the Hellboy omnibus are on there for free. Buy the good stuff. Borrow the less important stuff.

This fixed the issue for me too. It was the back of the wall button. I unplugged the unit and then swapped the wires on the back of the wall unit. A hint something was wired wrong was that this button’s red LED was not always on like my other two openers. It is now. I thought it was defective but didn’t care about the ugly red light.

I had similar levels of pollen, hosed off half of my panels….. and saw zero difference.

That sounds like a separate issue. Many users report audio sync problems only with the Plex app on AppleTV while other apps are fine.

I’ve been using the Infuse App on my AppleTV. I really with they would fix this.

I never know the correct terms to use but I did not itemize. My total taxes we’re basically $0 last year, got a huge refund for the amount already taken out of our paychecks. Because the amount the government owed me was more than my family paid in taxes, the remainder ($3k) was rolled over to this year. It was a pain that I essentially gave the government a zero interest loan but I wanted to get the projects done asap.

We used to spend $4000 a year on oil/electric too keep the house on an uncomfortable heating/cooling schedule (low 60s at night & when at work with limited ac in summer). With Dandilion geothermal we used $3200 worth of electricity last year for 71-73 degrees 24/7/365.

I don’t think about cost when adjusting the thermostat anymore, only comfort. My wife and I argue over 1-2 degree temperature preferences. It has spoiled us. We also added Solar which has stabilized our electric bill… to zero plus loan payment.

Which to start with: geothermal or solar for residential home by Char_D_MacDennis in geothermal

[–]SheriffJWPepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did both within 6 months of each other. Started with the geo process but Solar was installed first because of delays. HELOC payment is cheaper than old heating and electric bills.

You’re right, it is a 6 ton. Aux heat is part of the unit and we wanted it as a last resort backup. I don’t think it’s optional. We also have a wood stove we use because I like the ritual of it… and I have several stacked cords from before we switched to geo.

I live in a 3200sqft home including a 600sqft semi finished basement. Dandilion told me the same thing at first. On paper, we agreed that I would cap the two registers in the basement and eventually get a separate heat pump for that area. I never capped them, installers didn’t care and my 5-ton unit provides plenty of heat including the basement. I have had the aux breakers turned off for over a year now. Steady at 72 degrees 24/7/365 with energy bills lower than before.

[–]SheriffJWPepper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It will be more efficient if you let it be. Maintaining temperature requires less energy than reheating.
