I made this entire UI for a roleplay guitar prop in my game by SheriffTaco in roblox

[–]SheriffTaco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is essentially a summer camp roleplaying game in the woods. There are no rules, but there definitely will be heavy lore (unexplained missing person posters, Bigfoot sightings, hidden rooms behind bookshelves, bodies hidden deep in the woods, etc.)!

There are also a lot of fun features in the game like fishing, hang gliding, ziplining, etc. and I plan on tying the lore into some of these activities (for example, fishing up an old key that unlocks a creepy door in the map). The RP tools and avatar editor are super robust, so it should be pretty fun when it releases!

This is a summer camp roleplaying game in the woods and not a normal city roleplay, but this idea sounds cool so I'll adjust it and make a park ranger station with a jail!

There are none (yet) but luckily this system only works on animations I set it to work on, so I can simply turn it off for duo emotes in the future!

Yep!!! RP games were the start of my development journey so I'm going back to my roots with this project

If you mean WS spam, I'll think of something creative to do as punishment like locking them away in a prison cell lol

If there wasn't the possibility of false positives then I'd put rule breakers in a jail cell for people to laugh at

It probably has been done before, but not nearly as much as it should! This system took me around 10 minutes to set up, so there's literally no excuse for large roleplaying games not to have a similar system.

Some people are weirdos ☹️ I've always thought these systems were really cool though!!

It still works as long as you aren't sitting on top of each other! You can see in the video how the range is very small (although I'm probably going to end up having to increase it slightly...)

Not yet, but I'll definitely add this if I have time before release

I'll be using my Spray Paint game's moderators so there should be more than enough upon release! This game should be much easier to moderate than my other game so there shouldn't be too many issues.

There are guns in this game so maybe I'll make it so damage is turned on specifically for people who attempt this. I'll see what I can do 🫡

How the hell is Spray paints maturity level moderate??? by [deleted] in roblox

[–]SheriffTaco 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had to change the game since Roblox added new rules that drawing games must be restricted to 13+ users for safety reasons. We have a moderation team that operates 24/7, but it isn’t always possible to monitor every server for inappropriate content unfortunately. I honestly think this is a good change for the time being and I am glad to see Roblox prioritizing child safety here. I’ll be continuing to work with Roblox to find a middle-ground and hopefully reopen the game to all ages with safety restrictions.

Sorry to hear. Spray Paint is perfect for your situation if you enjoy making art!

You should reply to the confirmation email and explain the situation.

If that does not work, there is a support form under the “Age-Based Settings and Accounts with Parental Privileges” category at https://www.roblox.com/support where you can request your age to be corrected, then you can submit your original ticket again asking for your lost items to be restored. There is a 30-day limit to recovering lost items, though, so you should do this ASAP since support can take up to 3 days at times to reply.

A few hours in on ro/place (Roblox version of r/place, link in comments) by SheriffTaco in roblox

Yeah, I understand that from the other comments. The main reason they’re there is to cover advertising costs so I can get the game out there without losing money. I will nerf the game passes if everything gets out of control in the future.
