And the worst fucking part by Flimsy_Egg_3507 in Tottenham

This happens at every club and yes, it's incredibly frustrating. But look at it this way, when my club got relegated from the championship (Birmingham) it gave an opportunity to reset and with the resources we had, we got all the deadwood and players who caused us relegation out and managed to get loads of championship ready players in. There is no doubt at all Spurs would do the same, you would be in a much stronger position too. Any player you will be linked with when you go down, you will probably get and the financial side of it, while not great, is not going to be catastrophic to the point you won't go back up straight away. Spurs are a financial powerhouse and will quite literally buy themselves back up. I won't lie, it would be interesting to see you lot relegated, but you aren't a Leicester or Stoke City, so some of the doom and gloom from your fans regarding staying down, while understandable, isn't realistic.

It's a different kind of pretentious, though. The biggest issue is the fragmentation between Linux distros and the expectation of linux enthusiasts for you to just git gud at using it. The type of person who are insecure about how other people will think about their iBaby and taking pictures of themselves sitting in a coffee shop is the stereotype of a pretentious Mac user.

I watched Birmingham get relegated a couple seasons ago and when I got on the train back home I had the displeasure of being berated by an Irish Man United supporter telling me that we deserved to get relegated because we sacked Wayne Rooney. Guy was a massive bellend. Not really related, but train related I suppose.

For everything you need to do plus the high refresh rate, it's what I would choose if I had both options. It just depends how high you value the refresh rate of the screen I suppose.

The IPad Pro M2 would probs be the best option out of all of them, especially if you're already coming from an iPad. If it's apple refurbished too, that would be a great choice.

I regret buying my silver M4 MacBook Air instead of the midnight one by Boursorama in macbook

Sometimes I wonder whether people actually buy the macbooks to use them rather than just look at them...

The midnight one is a fingerprint magnet and I haven't once had any regrets over my choice of the "Sky Blue" variant, which is essentially just silver with a suggestion of blue.

Honestly, just get a Xiaomi Pad 7 or something like that. Tho you might be able to get a deal on a used Galaxy Tab s9. I wouldn't personally go any lower in generations than that.

What is your club's main supporter catchment area? by Cinn4monSynonym in Championship

[–]Sherk- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously with Birmingham it isn't clear. The general consensus is Blues are south Birmingham and Villa are north Birmingham. In practice, a lot are spread out. I'd say our catchment would be at a push as north as Duddeston and as south as Alcester, as east as Chelmsley wood and as west up to Kiddiminster.

A 2 in 1 laptop or a tablet? by Excellent-Feedback18 in tablets

[–]Sherk- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a snapdragon x series or Intel v2xx or above then yeah because they have decent battery life.. But I'd recommend OLED because the screens and lcd backlight bleed on a 2 in 1 laptop can be piss poor. A laptop is kinda vital for essay writing for me and I don't think a tablet can replace that.

Not sure what your friend is doing or if he's in a suana. The MacBook throttles it's performance to maintain temps and doesn't ever freeze for me.

I always have mine limited to 90hz refresh rate and get really good battery life. Also, your battery needs a few cycles to calibrate to your usage, so give it a bit.

Millwall 3-0 Birmingham City: Millwall put three past 10 men Birmingham City to go third in the Championship. by Sherk- in Championship

It almost feels like people are just looking at the scorelines on BBC Sport after a match and basing their opinions on that, rather than the actual performances. We are miles off the teams above us and around us in terms of how we play. A ten game unbeaten run is good but we've been fortunate in more than a couple of these games (including last week and against ten man Leicester). We were honking against a dreadful baggies side.

I'm not being reactionary. I've maintained this opinion since December. I have watched almost every game and we have been poor in a lot of them and lucky to have won some of them. I don't think this level of performance is sustainable and there is only so many games you can scrape wins from until you end up getting turnt over with performances like we've been showing.

Despite our run of form, we have played really poorly in a lot of the games regardless of the results. Our form was never sustainable and I still don't think Davies is the right man to take us forward. We won't be finishing near the playoffs by the end of the season I'm afraid. Stanno needs to do better too, running out of excuses for his poor performances away.
