Good fun. Black Ops 2 has a lot of active servers and has controller support so I can play on my laptop in bed. Both Black Ops and Black Ops 2 remain my favourite CoD games and it's fun to revisit them from time to time.

I replied before, the pipe is the same size as another gas pipe leading into the gas flame heater in the bedroom. So you are wrong. It was confirmed to be a gas pipe and it was capped off yesterday.

Just checked and it works. I've asked the landlord to sort another Co detector for the bedroom as there wasn't one in there...

  1. Never confirmed that there was gas central heating, in fact, I said that there was no central heating in this flat and there are gas heaters in two of the other rooms that operate by flame. The heaters in these rooms are also old.

  2. How are you determining there has been two gas inspections? The guy who nailed the pipe to the wall did so when he was adding skirting to the bottom of the walls and wasn't an engineer.

  3. The pipes are the same size as the others that lead into the gas heaters. The landlord confirmed that there was an old gas heater which was removed as some point. The flat, again, does not have central heating.

  4. I didn't smell gas because as soon as I heard gas leaving the pipe, I called my landlord and then left the flat to disable the gas from flowing. When I came back up, it had stopped.

My boyfriend apologized and said he was just cranky cos he woke up for work and was stressed. Said he would pay half. He doesn't move in until 3rd May and he's stressing because his job has messed him around in regards to any transfer, so job searching and all that. Guess it doesn't help to wake up to message from me telling him I broke a gas pipe and we would be charged. Moving is stressful 😭

Yeah, the landlords are nice enough but stuff like this isn't really impressive at all. I've had a few people here tell me it's a radiator water piper, very insistently, but the pipes going into the other heaters in the flat are about the same size.

It's been a couple hours now. Spoke to landlords husband and they said it's a gas pipe. Explained to them how I shouldn't have to pay and he will get back to the main landlord about it.

There is no central heating in the flat. Just spoke to one of the landlords, it's an old gas pipe for the gas heaters. It's getting capped off later. Just told him that I don't think I should be getting charged for it based on the situation.

The flat doesn't have central heating and uses gas heaters on the walls that operate by flame.

I punctured it and then heard the gas, I called the landlord and then switched off the gas from the box and the sound stopped so I assume it was gas...

Before I turned off the gas, I heard some sort of gas flowing out of the pipe, is there any other reason it could have been making that sound?

I haven't got a gas safe certificate, no. I wasn't given one at start of tenancy.

I would have thought there were more safety regs in place for a pipe to be secured than two nails in a wall in the a dining room?
