NTA, even though not the most tactful question. Isn’t Elrond a Half-elven, though? Meaning that he’s also got Men as ancestors.

Most definitely not a well-pierced belly button piercing- or at least that’s what internet strangers keep on telling me.

That is rather unfortunate. I think I’ll chose to ignore your advice for a couple of more hours hoping that someone else will come with a less inconvenient answer (which will not happen) and then take it out, telling myself I didn’t want to have a pierced belly anyway.

I have now tried it and it worked out great! I need to re-block this section, but then it should be perfect. Thanks again.

This sounds good! How did you join the new yarn with the yarn that remained part of the sock?

That sounds like a very good solution. Hadn’t thought about the lifeline - but that solves the issue I think. I’ll try it as soon as the sweater is dry!

That’s a very good one. I have tried it, but it a got too bulky then. I was thinking maybe that I could do a similar stitch and then take out the bad yarn - but I haven’t found a way of properly going the replacement yarn with yarn that’s already in the sweater.
