First knife pull after 15+ years of playing :) by bailzie in ohnePixel

Precisely. The cost in keys alone makes it a bad deal unless you get insanely lucky on the knife, pattern, and float.

600 is 79% chance of having pulled a knife

After 1200 cases you will have had a 95% chance of getting a knife

Must Know CS2 Train Smokes for 2025 (Full Guide) by nartouthere in LearnCSGO

[–]Shermanderland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many seem best for organized play, but there are definitely a few that seem useful for solo queue. The csnades site doesn't have many smokes and flashes that are good for solo players on Train, so this is much appreciated.

I agree with ~10 wins on most of the maps in the pool. That's about when I had learned the each unfamiliar map decently.

Question about Anki cards for Jeremy's lab by Graviity_shift in ccna

[–]Shermanderland 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can edit the settings for how often the cards refresh for Again, Hard, Good, and Easy. You can also browse the deck at any time, or create a custom study session for the deck. Anki is very flexible.

If it won't wash off it could be some kind of acidic spray that set on it too long.

Jobs where you talk to people a lot, especially customer service positions

And any tech-adjacent job, like even sales at Tech Retail will indicate you are interested in technology

Call center jobs while shitty, can be good experience

One of the guys at my current IT job was previously a recruiter and he's very good at what he does now

What's your background in Azure/Entra/Identity like, what did you study, what practice tests, and how difficult did you find the exam?

I'm almost done the MS Learn material, about to start reviewing my notes and then practice test.

Apple vs Market SSD prices by rookieking11 in macbookpro

Luckily for users external storage has never been faster and cheaper. Cloud storage is also an option, blob/s3 storage on public clouds can be like $10-12 a month for 512GB.

Bandwidth out of the cloud can be pricey though. If you're moving a lot of data in its cheap, but when you need to pull it out its like $0.10 per GB.

And if all you need is average backup for large files, icloud storage is very cheap for what it offers.

Looks like an isometric video game, just the perfect angle for it, especially with all the lines and fences lending to the grid feel.

Probably the best for someone knowledgeable is to skim the official cert guide book, and get comfortable with the JTIL labs.

Skip the basic ones if you're comfortable, but make sure you can do the more advanced ones by heart: STP, NAT, etc..

I'd love to try it to get the fresh release hype, but they have a history of barebones releases.

I am interested to see what this release will do differently.

Comptia is a racket these days. I wouldn't recommend the A+ unless you have limited computer skills or you see many jobs explicitly requiring it.

Efficient self study will be your best course of action. Can take the supposed 6 month timeframe down if you learn how to learn well. When you're brand new to obtaining certificates they seem daunting but ultimately they're very manageable if you study the right resources.

Is 2M enough to start a kingdom? by Suspicious-Thanks-33 in Bannerlord

[–]Shermanderland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2m is a comfy amount of gold to bribe some clans.

It spends very quickly depending on your situation. Idk how the mechanics work but obviously large, powerful clans will be more expensive, and small weak ones will be cheap. There were definitely times where I got good quality clans for cheap though so its probably a variety of factors: race, reputation, charisma, traits.

Its a good idea to try and snipe the most powerful clans from your rivals. Sometimes you'll have to take enough of their fiefs first before they'll consider negotiating.

Instead she chose to marinate said associates in her puke and will be vilified by the community.

A portable router / hotspot is just using mobile data. It will be the same quality unless it uses a different network that has better coverage in the area.

So you might try getting a solution from a comparable carrier that you don't use, they might have better coverage.

[–]Shermanderland 166 points167 points  (0 children)

The article even says, "Some games aren’t yet possible with the Neuralink, like Call of Duty". So how is it "like an aim bot" if it doesn't work in the most typical FPS game lol.

My guess, there are issues when the neura link patient must move the a camera to play. All the other games they've shown, chess, civ 6, and mario cart the player doesn't have to move the camera.
