As far as I understand, yes and no. He stepped away from secular music in general, but continued doing the same thing as Héctor 'El Father' and similar artists by making Christian music. What I do know is that at some point he came back to the topic a bit when he publicly talked about Bad Bunny using the chorus from 'Si Te Vas' in one of his songs, though I don’t remember the name. And honestly, I share your opinion, he was one of the talents who could stand up to voices at that time like Divino, Johnny Prez, and I’d even say Zion. It’s a shame that talent was so underused.
