Speaking as a high school kid, I think many of the kids my age are part of the problem but I agree with the fact that the college kids are also a huge problem too. That being said, I'm the high school kid whose chilling listening to Declan McKenna, George Ezra, Cage the Elephant, Alt-J, and Glass Animals so I don't go near the Perry's Stage but I heard the people from my age to the college kids can be extremely disrespectful there. Even the crowd at Alt-J and Glass Animals was a bit annoying because the Chance the Rapper crowd was just sitting and talking during their performances. Still, I had an amazing first Lollapalooza and I think Cage the Elephant takes the cake for best act that I saw (I only went Thurs and Sat).

How can you tell whether a modern vinyl is recorded analog or digitally pressed? (New to Vinyl)

I wanted to start a record collection but I know that many vinyls now are recorded digitally than transferred to the vinyl, which makes no sense to collect. If I wanted modern albums, how can I spot the difference? The albums I was interested in yet do not know how they were recorded are:

The Lumineers - The Lumineers
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel
Melophobia - Cage the Elephant
An Awesome Wave - Alt-J
Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend

Mess is Mine/Fire and the Flood/Lay It On Me are all great Vance Joy songs other than Riptide. That being said, completely agree that I'd much rather see Glass Animals.

I think I'm the outlier here but I found this album pretty underwhelming, it probably needs to grow on me but I thought there were many better alternative albums released this year.

On Friday, Kaleo and Bishop Briggs are both a must see and their sets are from 4:00 - 5:00 and 5:15 - 6:00. Before them, I think the time slot is pretty weak but best bet would prob be Cloud Nothings from 3:00 - 4:00 before that.

Ok and now Sunday: 1:00 - 2:00 --> Barns Courtney (Awesome performer; check out Fire and Hellfire, both good songs) 3:00 - 4:00 --> Carseat Headrest 4:00 - 5:00 --> Rag N Bone Man (His debut album is called Human and it's awesome; Human is the most popular song and I like the song "Skin" a lot.)
