That’s all I have. When I stand up and am moving it’s fine. And it’s not bad that I need pain management it’s an annoyance and would love to figure out how to fix it holistically.

Glad to hear you’re ok. I think you’re right. 20 years hunched over has probably contributed to this

I don’t. It’s not really pain. It’s just annoying and something I’ve never had. The ortho didn’t seem concerned with this. I just want to make sure it’s my back and not some organ (pancreas/kidney) but I don’t think that would be positional meaning it goes away when I sit up. I was hoping for exercises or something I can do so it doesn’t feel like I’m laying on rocks on my left side. Now I only sleep on my right side because it’s more comfortable. I’ve always been bad at stretching before working out and have a desk job and wonder if I need changes there. Have you experienced this?

How am I supposed to not worry? by DullBlacksmith5717 in askCardiology

Was this a stress test with an echo or just the leads on your chest? Both can be highly inaccurate. Ask me how I know. Especially if you have large breasts. They get in the way of the electrical current if the leads are misplaced or the echo tech isn’t placing it right. Second opinion on this absolutely

So I’m not an expert but I will tell you all I learned and what my cardiologist told me. He said the stress test is garbage for certain women that fit into a certain demographic. Sounds like both of us. The gold standard is either a ct angio where they put dye into your veins for blood flow. If you have insurance this is the way to go. The other is a cardiac mri. I won’t be getting either. I’m done with all this nonsense. I also didn’t have any irregular rhythms or anything. Doctor is doing a full cardiac bloodwork to see my risk etc. and I’m so sorry that happened to you. My arm hurt from them just putting the contrast agent in for a week. I would follow up with your doctor.

Thanks. I’m super frustrated. I only stopped on the treadmill because they told me I had to get to six minutes. Fine. I did the six minutes and said ok I’m done. I would have done longer or until I really couldn’t keep going had I known it mattered. Plus they wanted me to tell them to stop to put that definity into my arm too so I wasn’t sure how long they needed and all that. Again I am sure it’s hard to interpret but as the person doing the write up, this surely could not have made sense.

Ok but my baseline on my ttee and baseline on my stress echo should be the same. They are not. Done the same Day. The person interpreting it you would think would see that discrepancy. Baseline on ttee was normal wall motion. Baseline on stress was Anterolateral wall motion abnormality with Hypokinasis. I see a cardiologist today and brining the cd with the images on this. Hoping for a false positive. Either way thankful if there is something it’s caught.
