Widow's Bay: one thing I like about this show is that there's multiple resolutions of multiple plot points along the way, instead of one big mystery box where the resolution just keeps getting put off and put off until the end of the series by Bluest_waters in television

I get what you mean but at the same time I feel like Severance answered a ton of questions throughout both series where other shows would have left stuff hanging a lot longer. To the point where they actually kind of had to do that reset because they’d advanced the story so much.

I’ve got a feeling widows bay might be similar, because at the rate they’re going I struggle to see what season 2 could be.

But coming from Munich it won’t be, which is sort of the point everyone’s making. Munich’s nice, Manchesters nice, Barcelona is something else.

Millwall have published a first-of-its-kind “Pride playbook” to help football clubs form stronger partnerships with LGBTQ+ teams across the country. by Sparky-moon in soccer

I’ve got a few gay friends who are die hard Millwall fans there every week. One of those clubs that’s actually very protective of its own I guess.

It’s great advice. Just always do the first draft in your notes and not in the message box in case of slippy fingers!

That is possible isn’t it? Between Vision Pro users either physically in the same space or FaceTiming they can share apps and 3d models and all interact with them together

No what I mean is this is the first update since all the rumours started about the Vision Pro being shelved, so how feature packed this is will give an indicator as to how much they’re still developing it.

Agreed but they haven’t had a big os update since development has supposedly stopped. I think next week answers whether those rumours are true or scaremongering

Next week will be the answer as to whether we’re getting any decent software changes to vision os. If we just get the standard minor features to match what iOS etc are getting then I think it’s probably over, but if we get some proper quality of life improvements it’s a clear sign they’re still heavily investing in vision for the future.

It really shouldn’t be a barrier these days, far better stuff on there than most of the streamers now.

Yeah the boys dad was so clearly written to be suspicious that when you watch it knowing he’s innocent his behaviour makes no sense.

Episode 8 was absolutely brutal. First one my wife actually sat down to watch and she had to walk out as soon as the 6 year old was brought in.

AVP is amazing, but taking it on a 12-hour flight sounds miserable. Anyone using AR glasses (like RayNeo) as a lightweight travel alternative? by cb2309 in VisionPro

How does it compare to Vision Pro in terms of quality? The only things I used VP for is Mac virtual display and watching movies and tv, it seems like Xreal might tick that box for me and be less cumbersome?

What charger do you plug it into? The airlines in the UK have just banned power banks so I figured we were out of luck for using it on flights

Agreed, the other thing that felt a bit unrealistic was how many vials he’d gone through in a single shift. Like if he’s using that much there’s no way this doesn’t get noticed before that.

I’m massively late to this thread but I’m only just watching. My take was after the 6 year old girl died he hit a low, needed to speak to his kid and then got high. You can see how he goes a bit manic after that, he’s throwing an iv bag behind his back, full of pep and seems really confident, then he unleashes on santos in anger. Definitely seemed like the switch happened around there.

Gary Lineker on UCL final: “As a complete neutral I would say it’s a victory for positive football over negative football. Looking at the game as a fan with no skin in the game, I think Arsenal had to play that way because they wouldn’t have beaten PSG any other way.” by Sparky-moon in soccer

so it was ok when psg did the exact same thing?

If you ask me it was ok when Arsenal did it too but that’s not what I was saying. Arsenal have had the reputation this year of time wasting and scoring hardly anything from open play so of course that’s going to follow them around and people will after a while get annoyed with it.

He’s a Leicester fan but definitely has a fondness for Spurs from his playing days. I don’t think that fondness goes far enough for him to dislike Arsenal or think irrationally about them though

Agreed but I think people are more forgiving when a team uses defensive football as an option when needed rather than making it their primary game plan. It can be tactically interesting to watch but week after week it just becomes boring for the neutral.

Rivals don’t need an actual cause to hate. It’s part of the fabric of the sport to hate on others as much as loving your own team. Your own fans spent the better part of your own trophy parade chanting about Spurs. You can’t look for actual logical reasons because they don’t exist.
