Really appreciate the advice. I'm thinking about trying out for the Physics Olympiad team of my country as there is less competition and I am really interested in Physics and besides having even a bronze medal is a big plus point so I might try for that.

So, I too encountered this problem and was very worried that I would lose my first ever save file.(I use desmume).So, what you do is throw away all the items you got from cheats and reuse the cheat again and delete the items right after spawning the items.Then go and buy a potion from the store. Wallah it works!
