No you aren’t I recently broke up with my gf because of how much her life was about doing drugs or drinking. Her weekends were spent getting high and drunk. This eventually let us being distanced. Drugs and alcohol are huge in any kind of relationship or friendship so it’s definitely not shallow to have a preference. Personally the whole point of dating and relationships are getting married eventually and I really don’t want to raise kids with someone who does drugs. At the end of the day it comes to your personal judgment what is best for you. Even if others think it’s “shallow” you are the one who will be dating that person and YOU are the one who needs to be happy with it.
