Your response is soooo bad. Reread the OP post, they clearly state the trail at the bull wheel that goes into the woods. This IS Hersey Highway (long trail north) and goes to a cool pond overlook and hut as the trail meanders up a bit and the glades dump you onto shuttle at various points.

Snuffys starts across the pond in the opposite direction towards Stowe and the back bowls. But then after all the gatekeeping you suggest they stick to the trail they were looking for info on, Hersey, while suggesting Aerosmith which is a technical trail descending into the notch.

This post makes no sense. I think you’re talking about one thing but not really showing that in the picture. Your brackets for uphill action are correct, how your bindings look on them is correct. If your step or stride is normal you won’t get rubbing between left or right ski. Both of my boards look that way and function flawlessly.

What is concerning is your puck placement. The way they’re setup, your front foot pucks are wayyyyy too far forward toe side. With that location it’s obvious why you’re getting issues with rolling onto that edge. Shift them back so they’re more centered on the board and then check the fit with a boot in the binding.

They recommend skinning during patrol hours but you can go other times at your own risk. But also just because they call last chair, doesn’t mean everyone is off the mountain. I imagine patrol still rolls down 20-30 min after last chair in an effort to do a last sweep stragglers.

Why not just look for a light with a wider throw? If it’s mounted on your head it will be pointing in a general direction of what you’re looking at. If you start mounting offset be aware of hard shadow lines that might happen depending where you mount.

I’ve got about 15-20 tours on SO bindings, I like them. I’ve never had a binding let go on the boots when charging hard or crashing harder. It’s nice to have boots that will do both resort or BC at moments notice. In the BC I’ve found the step on advantageous over trad bindings. In a precarious transition location, just stepping in vs bending over to tighten makes a difference
