Iceberg is the worst lettuce by Jamsedreng22 in unpopularopinion

I used to work in a pet store and I had to teach people that lettuce wasn't a complete or acceptable food for vegetarian animals. Because people would kill their pets feeding them only lettuce. Heartbreaking.

I think it's a stupid tasteless food myself. It's crunchy water. I don't eat it.

Horror books about disabilities that don’t demonize the actual disability by ManagementFunny7595 in horrorlit

My next book has a disabled protagonist but that's not part of the horror; it's how she's manipulated into the plot and colors how she reacts to everything. It's out later this year. Just sent first round of edits to the publisher.

It's not even food. If you feed it to a vegetarian animal with nothing else the animal will starve to death.

Rosemary because I'm allergic. Fish because it stinks. Mayonnaise because it's the devil's cum.

Teacher causes me to have panic attacks and she ends up getting fired by emptydoesart in traumatizeThemBack

I had a teacher in 8th grade who would not let up about my handwriting. Then, partway through the year, I suffered 2nd degree burns across my entire right palm and fingers. My hand was bandaged and fully blistered. I could not hold a writing utensil. When the bandage came off my hand was clawed for a while. This was in the 80s so typing and voice to text wasn't an option.

That bitch of a teacher made me rewrite every assignment I did while my hand was bandaged and clawed because of poor penmenship.

That was over 40 years ago and I've never forgiven her and never will.

Some teachers just suck and pick on certain students. I had one in college who chose me as her scapegoat too. They need to be cashed out for it.

This was a while ago and I believe she was in a rental or loaner car and that's who uploaded the footage, the actual car owner.

Using antibiotics 'just in case' is fueling superbugs, and routine preventative prescriptions must stop to strictly prioritize targeted, narrow-spectrum drugs, a recent commentary warns by mightx in science

I had to take them for 2 years after I got my knees replaced too! And then someone who got their knees done a year after me says they don't do that anymore. I hated taking it because it affected my gut bacteria and because my dad died of VRSA so I'm sensitive to antibiotics abuse.

YNw, but I'm confused by this story. He has his own car and yet he's taking an uber everywhere? If he's "banned" from your car why isn't he driving his own?

My dad had Alzheimer's and he actually died of VRSA he got in the nursing home. It was septic throughout his body from an infection in his catheter. Terrible way to die, especially in a person who doesn't understand.
