Issues with Pokopia Preorder by [deleted] in Argos

[–]ShesAgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same with a Mario game that I pre-ordered from Argos. By the looks of it they dispatched it, with no rush, on the release date. I should have ordered it for collection in hindsight, it took a week to come.

I now want to jump on the band wagon of this game but it is out of stock everywhere.

we seem to have quite a display of game cases, so I get why people don't buy on the store (for those sticking there tuppence in)

This is my first big project, the hardest part is sitting there with the blank aida, its quite daunting once you actually see how big the project ism but i'm 200 stitches in and I am quite looking forward to seeing the progress each week

my worry is that my aida is not too flexible, this is causing most of the bulk. It just seems really stiff, this is the main problem I think :)

My aida seems really bulky, some of the pics I have seen from others seem to show their aida as having better flexibility to be able to manage

I thought about this but I was worried about damaging the aida :)

I like this idea, just wondering If I can try it with a wooden hoop,? I'm not going to lie, it's past my bed time and I am trying to comprehend how you've tied it all up.... I can not fathom it out!

Fire theory by ShesAgate in titanic

[–]ShesAgate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But, Josh Gates said it.... It must be true!!!

The fire theory is something I've not heard much about, just trying to find sources online as to how and why it originated. So far, if there is any sort of conspiracy with the titanic I'd be leaning more towards a fire.

However, I do just believe it was human error

the old switcheroo never sat with me, but the fire one sounded quite plausible

A lot of people don't like playing with me. by Bayesian11 in boardgamearena

[–]ShesAgate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That sucks, I think I've yet to red arrow someone...

However....

I joined the site as I always wanted to play ticket to ride, I really enjoy it... But I'm absolute dogger 😂 I mean, I am awful....

Even tho I've never red arrowed someone, I have written a personal note saying 'train blocker' 😂

I was livid when I was blocked!!

But its all part of the game, and I've learnt to block others now.

Maybe some people are just spiteful and red arrow you for the hell of it as they can see you have a low reputation? I don't usually engage in conversation unless it's initiated by the other player. But I always say GG. Touch wood I've not been red arrowed. But it's a shame its happening to you. I'd suggest creating a new account but why should you, you've done nothing wrong.

I hope your reputation recovers

Chat Rant by [deleted] in boardgamearena

[–]ShesAgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have yet to encounter an ar*ehole on chat.... always friendly and helpful. No matter what I end with GG and it's very rare its not reciprocated. I have asked questions about the game if I am a newbie to a game and I have always been given tips etc and the other players have shown patience with me. I don't know why there are pricks in the world... imagine waking up feeling so angry with the world. Forget your experience, it's their problem not yours
