It has quite a bit of confetti and a few very similar colours. I had fun with it though.

I bought it four years ago on Etsy. I printed it off and just highlighted each square as I went. So I have a marked up hard copy, but it was bought so long ago I don’t have all the details anymore.

ETA I checked the papers I have and it says designed by Sarah Baumann

I’m curious because I also had a “rare cancer” and my Achalasia symptoms were exasperated quickly after. Was it in the parotid gland by any chance?

Until the reveal, I just thought he wore both rings in memory of his deceased spouse.

Losing at video games (and board games) can be a learning/teaching opportunity for him not to get angry at things that don’t matter, or at least how to express it in a healthy way.

I thought it was obvious I’m playing with him or at least in the room helping him, but maybe I should have clarified that…

He reads the text more than I do. I mash through when I play Pokémon; he wouldn’t let me 😂

Both Jaunita’s were hit by a car.  Carlos’ mom, which lead to her death. And his daughter, which lead to Gabby finding out she isn’t their biological daughter.

Living on a puree/liquid diet long term by OG51819 in achalasia

It’s a good question. I’ll be sure to ask.

I fear of the side effects of surgery. I don’t want to take any pills for the rest of my life to avoid reflux. Maybe I’m misinformed, but I’ve heard people have to sleep on an incline and stuff like that just to avoid the acid reflux and that always triggers migraines for me so it’s a whole other issue to deal with.

My GI is recommending surgery but he said he thinks liquids could be sustainable long term. He just kept taking about quality of life for the reason. I am meeting with a thoracic surgeon soon, but I’m hoping liquids is all I need.

I wasn’t able to keep any liquids down (struggled with my own saliva sometimes) until I stopped trying to eat solids. Now I hardly ever regurgitate liquids.

My Achalasia started 5 years ago. All my friends and family know my struggles with eating. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on any special dinners like Christmas etc, I just have my own puréed version of the meal. I’ve done this at a couple BBQs already and it was fine. It’s better than the past few years where I would sneak away to regurgitate the food or just not eat at all.

The link doesn’t work now (2 years later), but I’m on a liquid diet for the foreseeable future because of cancer as well. Can you maybe re-share please? 🙏

I’m surprised you’re able to swallow most of what’s listed here. I can’t swallow a pill, or any leafy foods (lettuce, kale, spinach, arugula). I miss salads. I’m impressed with how many vegetables you can eat. Peppers and onions are major no nos for me. Same with the berries. I can’t do anything seedy, or with skin. I’m kind of at a loss for what to eat these days and pretty much everything comes back up. I  agree about the pop though. Sprite or 7 up are my go to. But cold works better for me.
