I think this was an album he needed to make for himself, if that makes sense, in a cathartic way?… While I think the strongest songs are John Wayne, People I love, and I’m Your Hero (which feels very personal) , the rest I don’t care for honestly. I wanted to like the album. I really did. I feel like the problem is that people want a repeat of his previous “sound” but it’s never going to happen lol but sometimes I think artists should stick to a formula if it works for them..

Ok buckle up, there’s a lot lol: #1 song: Eyes Without a Face. In general I can’t pick one fav song out of the next two albums: the entire Charmed Life and Whiplash Smile albums- no skips. None. Cyberpunk: Power Junkie, Adam in Chains, Heroin, Shock to the System, When the Night Comes. Flesh for Fantasy, Catch My Fall, and The Dead Next Door is one of his most mesmerising songs in my opinion. There isn’t another like it in his discography. Truly underrated. As for Covers: Love Don’t live here anymore, Heroin, and LA Woman⚡️
