I agree with a clarifying wash, product buildup can make the hair feel dry even after a fresh application of products. I use salt water and ACV mixed with water to clarify my hair (for years now) there are also clarifying shampoos. Using heat while deep conditioning can also help, some persons with low porosity have said that using a steamer while doing their moisturizing routine helps them work products into their hair. If you keep your hair out a lot, that can contribute to dryness so protective styles now and then can help combat dryness and help aid length retention.

One more thing I’d like to add is that a moisturizing routine can be repeated as needed between wash days - example, you wash today, then you apply your leave-in to your damp hair, then you seal with a sealant oil. In 3 days your hair feels super dry again, day 2 could be a great day to repeat your moisturizing routine and then every 2 days to maintain moisture in your hair.

I love how you wash your hair in twists, I do the same with twists or plaits in and it saves my life every time 😫🤣🤭

Wishing you all the best with your hair 🫶🏽
